When we got there it was quite busy not any tables for the 5 off us , the lady behind bar went and asked a man who was taking up a table for 5 if he would mind moving so we got a table plenty big enough for the 5 off us ... then we got told that they were getting a party in and that the kitchen will be closing untill after that party food had gone out but we could order now and soon as party stuff was out our food would get cooked which we said was fine we decided what we wanted and within 5 mins off being there the same lady came over and said chef said if your ready to order he will cook yours first before the party which we thought was great service ... food then came out very quickly 2 fish n chips n mushy peas which were massive and really nice 2 pulled pork burgers which again were massive meals and the chicken basket which was also enjoyed no complaints at all from any off us ... would recommend this place

Very clean and tidy great food

The weather was lovely, 30c plus so I and my Pal sat outside in the garden where we spent a couple of hours before I had to go to Gatwick. I ate lunch having one their lovely pies with mash potato, which when I am in London I always come along to this fine pub to sample the food and drinks at reasonable prices.

I love this pub it is easily the. Eat in Central London.

The end of the line after a 10 hour walk in London! A cosy place with great food and staff, had us begging for more, thank you!

Supergood pub in Paddington. Like it very much. Friendly, see you next time we are in London .

Our group meet every month at this pub. It is a great pub with good food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Plus there's this great group of nerds who are there once a month (OK that's us, but if you're a fan of Terry Pratchett that's another bonus).

My mom, girlfriend and I visited the place on sunday the 10th september.



We had been walking around the city near Hyde Park for an hour or more, only to realise that this wonderful place, was almost our next door neighbour.



We had a lovely meal with a salmon starter, which all of us shared (plenty for all of us), and then had a monkey board and two steaks with sides, three pints, and then we were full.



Great price, lovely big meal, sweet blond-skined waitress and Gary was great! Lot of humor all the way round.

We had a laugh, just before we left - I had his bussinescard, and will return for sure, next time we return.

Great place to relax after a busy day, food was great, drinks were great and the pub's landlord greeted us, it was great....

Great after a long day out. Mixture of locals and tourists but so friendly. Gary the landlord is really friendly too. Will definitely visit again.

A very lovely pub...my daughter and I stayer in a hotel a cross the street and every evening we ate there and enjoyed the lovely ambiance and the People Who visite this pub!!!
