This afternoon, Form III played a game of ‘Movement Monopoly!’ Well done to the children in House Austen who were the winning team, collecting 6 cones for passing ‘Go’ and completing their exercises!
Kindergarten have all enjoyed designing and making our rockets this week.
Mountain walking and seashore studies. Having a great time and all is calm! Another day nearly done.
Stunning day. Fun, lively and interesting. Body art on the rocks. Rock climbing. Gorge walked too but those photos will need to follow. Time for evening activities.
Form III have been thinking about how tools were made in Stone Age times. We used soap instead of flint and “knapped” it into different types of tools.
What a super day, so far. Canoe trip earlier in the day, then a magical evening with the low ropes. Canoe photo session after the trip, the waterproof camera snaps are given to us on a stick on Friday. It was very wet! They do say faces tell the story......
The sun has risen and the children have slept, a little....some highlights of our first evening in the woods and having fun/team working. Everyone is getting along very nicely and the sticky toffee pudding was a real treat😁
The children are all safe and sound and we are having a good time. We went through a lovely wood and climbed a very big hill to view the beautiful views. Wow!
Form III have been looking at a branching database this afternoon that could work out the animal on their card. We started to consider questions we could input into our own database to distinguish between different plants and flowers.
This afternoon Form 1 and Form 2 have been learning about Buddhism. The children have learnt about the importance of kindness, wisdom and mindfulness while working together to plant a tree. 😌🌱🌿🌳😌
