Last chance to catch the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show this weekend. In the 1940s and 50s Agatha Christie's team of gardeners lead to the Mallowans winning their local Brixham Horticultural Show so frequently they instigated a special cup for locals who did not employ gardeners!

Colour proofs of the 1981/82 cast production photos; Molly's dress, which has been blue for the past 16 years, was at this time bright pink.

For anyone visiting London for the first time this summer, did you know that the original plans for St Paul's Cathedral included a 60ft pineapple on the top? Eventually Sir Christopher Wren (great name, if we do say so) settled for several smaller pineapples. See if you can spot them!

You have to see this show if you like a good mystery!

Theatre was beautiful and quite intimate -we were in the upper circle. Only drawback was leg room for 6'2" son!!

The play was fantastic, we had worked it out but was great to be proved right and watch how the plot unfolded.

Coming to our town on tour, so going again with the husband. Will keep the secret ;-)

Spread the word about 'The Mousetrap' but always keep its secret hidden in your heart! This play is Agatha Christie at her best and it will surely endure for many years to come.

The excellent cast really gelled together and drew the audience into the mystery, suspense and suspicion as the play developed. Although I had seen the play before, the climactic twist was a fitting conclusion to this classic tale of West End theatre.

If I had to select one word that describes 'The Mousetrap' it would be 'stupendous'. Long may it continue!

User

So wonderful to see this play. I thought i had solved it but i was wrong. The acting is excellent and there are some surprising funny parts. Would definitely recommend seeing this and would see it again!!

User

Saw this at the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr last night - a wonderful piece of theatre and as many other have said you get lost in the story and feel compassion for all the characters. A wonderful tradition to keep the secret in this world of spoilers!

User

Sat afternoon show, being a Agatha Christie fan always wanted to see this drama, the sound effects, expression, acting everything was so perfect! The reason for it being longest running play proves it!... 66th year & still counting...

User

Really good play very atmospheric and the beautiful theatre adds to the setting. In fact for the two hours and a half in the theatre your totally immersed and when I came out it took me a few minutes to realise I was in 2016 still if you want to forget your worries for a couple of hours go see this great show

User

Perfection! Story, script, set, cast, production, direction..

Vow to maintain the secrecy!

My husband and I went as a 25 Wedding Anniversary treat. He did not think he would enjoy it,however he loved it as much as I did.Would recommend it as a must see when in London.Would be more than happy to see it again and the actors were brilliant.

User

My Mother in Law & I went to see the show today to celebrate our two upcoming "big birthdays"..it has been on my "Wish List" since reading my first Agatha Christie book approx 40 years ago..well worth waiting for..the theatre is charming & the play kept one guessing & had kept us glued to our seats..Thank You.

User

It's a lovely play and when you see how many stars have been in it it makes it all the more special. I remember seeing Kate Anthony in it.

User

In London for just a few days and had looked in to booking tickets but wasn’t sure it would work... But, we found ourselves finishing dinner @VietFood near Piccadilly Circus about 1830 so two in our party were able to make the 1930 showing on 3 June. So glad we did. It was wonderful! Theatre is beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The ladies working the snack/souvenir store in the foyer were so nice, as was the gentleman who was @the box office. We stood outside the stage door and met the entire cast. They were all so gracious AND talented! Very thankful to have been able to attend performance #27,363!

I'm such a huge Agatha fan that I can't believe I'd never managed to see the play before! I remedied this on Saturday at the matinee. Fantastic show, great atmosphere and unexpectedly very funny, (especially Christopher Wren). A brilliant cast, vintage Christie, with twists and turns galore. Thoroughly recommended .

User

I took Mum to see The Mousetrap recently and we had a wonderful time. As we're visually impaired we went to the audio described performance with a touch tour. It all worked really well, pointing out lots of important details that we wouldn't have seen or appreciated otherwise, so it greatly enhanced the experience.

And the show itself is brilliant. Wonderfully written, really well acted, and keeps you guessing right to the every end. It doesn't feel like 2 hours - you get absorbed in the play so the time just flies by. Well worth going!

User

Excellent work! Since I was a girl I read Agatha christie books because I like the way she writes and being able to see one of her books through a play was fantastic. I recommend that if you like theater and are in London do not miss it. Go and see her, she will not disappoint you.

Dear,

My name is Sem and I'm eleven years old. I live in the Netherlands. I love the books and plays of Agatha Christie. I want to play a Christie play for friends at home. Please, can I make a Dutch translation of this play? I will do nothing public with the script.

Kind regards,

Sem

User

Absolutely loved it. A great fun show and it's Christie at her best. I have only seen it six times though, so others might be in a better place to judge it !

User

A wonderful show. It was much more comedic than I expected. A typical Agatha Christie with all cast members being implicated right up to the end of the play. All I can say about the ending is that it wasn't the butler.

User

Unfortunately it is very dated, not sure I would recommend having paid £48 to see this
