Love this....BBC published taken by a very talented Martin Perry

User

We had very good day there . If you are going not busy holiday timevis seems be more relaxing and kids be enjoying more. I think , prices are reasonable and in the souvenir shop prices are much cheaper than on the mainland . Kids loved sweets manufactory and chairlift was fab !

User

We had a fabulous afternoon at The Needles, plenty to do with and without using money. We went on the chairlift and the staff were very helpful and assisted me with getting of each time. We had ice cream and weren't fleeced and generally were able to enjoy ourselves in an unhurried way with no big sell. All the staff we came across were polite and friendly. My only moan would be the slightly tired toilets by the roundabout, clean but need some updating but they did not spoil the day.

User

We came in November, most of the attractions were closed but loved the glass making shop & the staff in all the shops were very nice. Overall we enjoyed our visit

User

Today we came to a park so I could do my friends an engagment shoot, after being down the beach we retreated back up to the park. After doing some enquiries I was directed to Chris whom was working on the golf kiosk, as I had an idea using props from the park. Chris couldn't have been more helpful and polite and nothing seemed to much trouble for him, he also sounded enthusiastic about my ideas and also suggested other things incase we couldnt do what i wanted due to maintenance working on the carousel. I musnt forget the rest of the staff were all happy to direct me to the right person and where happy to listen, especially the lady in the sand shop (its a long walk up from the beach with alot of kit so was trying to catch my breathe back haha)

I went for a refreshment drink and your facilities were clean and tidy and the lady who served me was polite and kind, even though my question was probably a pretty obvious one to work out but i wanted to double check.

Thankyou to you all at the needles today for your help and great customer service. 5 stars :D Please may you give my thanks to Chris again.

Stunning views loved the boat trip to the lighthouse and the cable car ride, it’s definitely a lovey place to visit.

User

One of the best place to go in life time if you and your kids miss it you will be regret forever. It's a great fun for adult and child much more to do there and great cenerio and great view.

Just love it.🖒

User

Loved the experience and both the kids and my child like fiancé thought it was fantastic. I was surprised having read a lot of reviews of the safety on the cable cars, but if you actually hold on to your child you’ll be fine.

Great experience!

Stunning views

User

Loved the chair lift views of the beach and the Needles....... 3rd time !.....always like to visit the sand shop and was very pleased they offered a free replacement when the glass skull got broken. Thank you, that meant a lot......

User

Just taken my two young children to see Santa at the Needles and We are so impressed. The Grotto was lovely, all the staff were so friendly and looked great. Santa was one of the best I’ve ever seen and both children absolutely loved the gift they received, fully recommend.

User

It's our 2nd time visiting The Needles, we 1st visited while me and my newly wed husband had our Honeymoon on the Isle of Wight, it was October 2015, weather wasn't too bad, other than the little fun fair rides were closed everything else was open, we really enjoyed the chairlift, the crazy golf, visiting the sand shop, watching the sweets being made and glass being blown, everything was a highlight, food was reasonably priced at the restaurant on site, staff were friendly and helpful.

This time we brought our 2 children we got there by bus from Ryde, we live in Gosport so a bit of a travel to get to the Needles it's so worth it views are spectacular. We all went on the chairlift again our children loved it bought a magnet photo of us all on it, our kids loved filling there glass with the brightly coloured sand, loved watching the sweets being made and glass being blown, our youngest loved the vintage car ride, we all enjoyed the crazy golf, again all the staff were friendly and helpful, would recommend The Needles at Alum Bay to anyone who visits the lovely Isle of Wight

User

Had a lovely day at the needles yesterday with the whole family! Just wanted to say a big thanks to a supervisor called Nat in the sand shop who was really nice to our child and really good with our nephew who has autism. Thanks for a great day!

User

Excellent service from the staff in the restaurant, a lovely lady called Jenny went the extra mile and made fresh sandwiches for two of my children who can't have milk!

User

Excellent customer service from a gentleman that works in the sand shop. My granddaughter bought something whilst we were there and it was faulty but we did realise until we got home but for £4 I said I would give her the money. My granddaughter asked me to ring them so they could check the others as she didn't want it to happen to another little girl or boy and he straight away said he would send her another. She was thrilled when it came through the post. A huge thank you to him

User

Went as a family with our 2year old, Had a great morning at the needles spending a couple hours on Alum bay as well as sand sculpting and watching sweetie and glass making. Had lunch while there and prices were very reasonable on food compared to some attractions we've been too.

Little one loved the cable chairs down to the beach and made me face my fear taking him on them!

Staff are fantastic especially the supervisor lady with the purple hair in the sand section, our son really took to her! Full of enthusiasm and energy just what places like this need.

User

Not a lot to do if you don't have children but still a place to visit all the same.

Views are stunning and chair lift is great.

Coloured sand is fading over the years so make sure you see it before it's gone.

User

Something u have to see when visiting the island. Its very busy though. If your car has a worn clutch don't bother coming, you'll burn it out. Staff have such poor management of the que to the car park up the very steep access road. You can smell worn out clutches all around the car park. Once on site be prepared to que for simply everything.

User

Biggest problem is being charged £5 for all day parking when you're unlikely to stay more than 2. Considering it's a natural place, they're certainly taking visitors for every penny they can get. One of our more expensive days out especially when we didn't stay longer than 2 hours

User

Would probably have enjoyed this experience a lot more if the parking wasn’t run by ten year olds with no clue on how to organise a car park. They were heard audibly on their walkie-talkies trying to organise the cars and the routing. It sounded a bit like the chuckle brothers trying to move a ladder.

The payment for the car park is cash only and likely the reason why the queue to get in was half a mile back up the road.

Why don’t you make people buy a ticket when they are parked and in the amusement park, then get them to give the ticket to one of the attendants on the way out?

User

Didn't get near the attraction as the car park is £5 a day - no option for staying an hour or two for less money! Total rip off and no way to see Alum bay or the needles without paying £5!!!!! It's a natural sight not man made!!!
