Wow! The Neeld Arms was recommended to me by one of my brothers so I went tonight with my partner and our adult son and we were certainly not disappointed. What a bargain - Ten English pounds for a Pie n Pint which was absolutely delish! The homemade chicken, ham and mushroom pie with dauphinoise potatoes and veggies was a triumph and we can't wait to return again. A super friendly and efficient waitress and a pleasant gent serving behind the bar added to our enjoyment of our evening.Thank you. :-)

We attended japfest and the hotel was excellent ! The pub/hotel was lovely! Such a friendly place, made me and hubby feel like one of the locals. The rooms were beautiful modern country house, plenty of room. The food was perfect, we had 2 steaks for dinner on the 1st night cooked perfectly, both breakfasts were day fillers and with being at japfest car festival from half 8-5 was ideal, the 2nd night we had steak and ale pie and they were more than enough portions.

Charlie and boo were lovely and told us the best way to get to castle combe race circut for japfest.

In all had a lovely time and will be staying again next year :)

User

User

Thank you for a lovely stay, though the occasion was sad, we were able to get away from it and relax whilst with you. We will see you again soon

User

Stayed just one night and didn't get a chance to sample the food, but I'd certainly stay here again if I'm ever at Croft circuit again. So wonderfully quiet at night - you can only just hear the M4 in the distance. Very courteous and accommodating staff.

My wife and I have been frequenting this pub for around three years. Charlie and the team are excellent welcoming and friendly hosts. The food is wonderful, and the atmosphere cosy and relaxing. A cracking pub in a quiet and pretty Cotswold village.

User

Lovely village pub and B and B

Very welcoming mine host Charlie!!

Room was very comfortable and the food both at dinner and breakfast was simply superb

Would recommend to anyone

Thank you Charlie!!

I have enjoyed restaurants from alot of different countries in the world, so far this is the best pub food yet! The building is very nice as well.

I have been staying here on a regular for the last seven years. I stay away with work most weeks and this is without doubt my favourite place to stay. Six rooms, all different from room one with the four poster bed to room six, the family room.

The food is all cooked from scratch and seasonal such as local Venison. Soups are all homemade and so tasty. You don't starve with these portions. Breakfast is done in conjunction with you wishes. Charlie and his staff along with the locals are all friendly and welcoming. This Neeld is a hidden treasure. If you like you hotels to be the corporate niceties don't use the Neeld, it won't suit you. If you like good service, good food, a smile and a comfortable stay then this is for you.

Had a great two night stay. The food was amazing and the pub had a great friendly, warm atmosphere. The landlord and staff are lovely and I throughly enjoyed myself.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends.

User

Gorgeous pub.. the rooms were fantastic and extremely comfortable. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. The whole place had a nice and welcoming atmosphere. And much cheaper than we'd normally pay!

User

Found this great pub via the Good Beer Guide (never fails), and stopped in for an evening meal en route back to London from Wales. So much better than the dreaded M4 rest stops. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Very welcoming Landlord & Landlady. The local shooting club was in so it was even more colourful.

User

Excellent pub, lovely food... Really reasonable price too & extremely yummy . The staff were really friendly and accommodating to myself and sister with her very young baby. I would highly recommend to all they are also a B&B too in a great location

User

Charlie is what I call an “Old School Pub Landlord” welcomed everyone as if they were there everyday The Good Was Fresh and the Pies & Puddings Homemade (recommend Both) it’s a village pub small and quaint, having said that there is an extended dining area and front garden

User

Another great Badminton weekend and made all the more pleasurable by the hospitality at The Neeld Arms. This is the fifteenth year we have stayed here and would highly recommend it to anyone. X

User

We arrived late in the evening, hopefully to grab some food, luckily for us this was still being served. The staff were very welcoming and we were offered a good variety of meals to choose from. Monday night is curry and a pint night, i had to go for that, choosing a local ale, the curry was Chicken Jalfrezi, it was so nice i could have eaten another helping but i left some room for a dessert featuring much chocolate. A large Amaretto and Pepsi later rounded off the evening.

User

Spot on food tonight.

Thank you for a great meal and great beer!

We will be back!
