Are you even a parent if you don't know who Ryan is?! 🤔
For those that haven't had the pleasure of watching this child who reviews toys on YouTube and running around and screaming with his family, opening toy after toy after toy, count yourself lucky! Both of my children are obsessed with him.....
Myself on the other hand not so much. Whilst his reviews are helpful for writing Christmas lists to Father Christmas the rest of the time I'm pulling my hair out.
... Has your child got a favourite YouTuber?

#pregnancyhack
As your tummy begins to pop, getting trousers and jeans closed becomes more of a battle.
Before you rush out to spend a fortune on maternity ware, save yourself some pennies by using an elastic hairband to extend your clothes!

It would seem that Essex has been affected, have you?

Today is #worldfriendshipday and I am not afraid to admit that when I fell pregnant with my first baby I struggled with friendships.
Why because a lot of my friends, at home and work, were on different paths to mine at that time. Some were younger, not ready to settle down other's were past that stage, they already had children or didn't want them. Suddenly I had gone from a big circle of friends to very few.
When your life takes a different path you want to be surrounded by... others who are also going through a similar experience but where can you start?
That's why I love the Nesting Place!
During pregnancy you have pregnancy relaxation, once baby is born there is MooBorn, Baby Massage and head space for mums.
Whilst you may think that these sessions offer one service, the most important thing they have in a common is the opportunity to develop friendships, strong ones that can last a lifetime.
If you're in doubt why not try one out?

I have a three year old and we are currently going through the dreaded potty training stage.....
I mean it's the right time to do it, during the summer, less clothes to worry about getting off in a last minute dash, right?
Anyway whilst she was in preschool she picked it all up very quickly and has very few accidents, however, while she was at home it was a different story, a complete battle of wills. She would ask to sit on her potty and ten minutes later would stand up and... pee on the floor beside it.
Does any of this sound familiar to you?
I have had the good fortunate to have a chat with Sue from Little Life Steps and she gave me some amazing advice with regards to this. Nope, I won't be able to potty train my child in three days and yes it's likely she's pushing back with me while she's testing my boundaries.
I've implemented the advice from Sue and hey presto within a couple of weeks she has it nailed and even starts using the toilet, although this has only been for wee wees.
So you can imagine my shock when she disappeared into the loo for sometime the other day. After 10 minutes I knocked to check on her. Well imagine my face when I say my little independent madame had not only done her first poop in the toilet but had tried to clean her bottom also!!!
There was poop on the toilet, the walls, the floor, her hands, legs, toes even her dress...
I then remembered what Sue had told me about encouraging little wins and I praised her so much telling her how great she was in between the moments of heaving.
Sue thank you for your help! If you are potty training yourself at the moment book yourself onto Sue's Prepare for Potty Training Workshop. Be warned though, things could get very messy....

5,821 suicides were registered in the UK in 2017. The Samaritans took more than 5 million calls for the same period.
Myth: People who are suicidal want to die.
Fact: The majority of people who feel suicidal do not actually want to die; they do not want to live the life they have. The distinction may seem small but is very important. It's why talking through other options at the right time is so vital.
... Today is #SamaritansAwarenessDay.
Let's all take part in THE BIG LISTEN 2019 and help share the message.
If you would like to donate please contact the Samaritans directly: https://www.samaritans.org/donate-now/

You may or may not have noticed all of the new events that have been added to The Nesting Place recently?
Over the weekend I was updating our Google My Business Page when I had to take a moment and sit back to realise just how far our little but amazing (if I may say so) venue has come!
Just look at all of the sessions that we have available. So I want to say thank you, thank you to the amazing practitioners new and old that have chosen to run their valued sessions as part o...f our team.
You, yes you are just as important as our practitioners, you are also part of the team. When you join one of these sessions you are supporting more than one business and I think I speak for all the practitioners when I say THANK YOU!
Believe it or not we still have a number of time slots free so if you are or know of a business looking for a unique venue then please get in touch!
Have a lovely Day!!!

Everyone thinks that my child is a little angel.
They tell me how great and polite she is, how kind and generous she is.
Let me tell you something about my little angel, the minute you leave our company this precious little darling will scream at me, demand everything and anything....
... EVERY SINGLE TIME!
But do you know what? As much as she winds me up and she really does! I love her so much, although a break from each other every now again does us both good.
Do you have a 'little angel in disguise?'

If you happened to come across a fairy Godmother (I know I'm really dreaming here) and she could grant one of these as your wish, which would you choose??
You can only pick one!!
