Notice: due to being unable to reach an agreement regarding necessary work to the property, we have been forced to close the pub and cease trading. This make us very sad as our business was thriving thanks to the support of our locals and friends and those of you who drank and ate with us. We will therefore be unable to honour our current bookings and will be making every effort to contact individuals over the next few days. If anyone purchased a gift voucher for the pub please contact us to arrange a refund. We are very upset the an amicable agreement could not be arranged but feel that it was in our best interest not to continue trading under the circumstances. We will keep you lovely people updated on future moves. It’s not over yet.

We went for tea this evening - literally couldn’t fault a thing! The food was yummy, atmosphere was lovely, staff are friendly and the couple who run it were absolutely delightful. We most definitely will be back!

We have just popped in to our new local tonight and these guys did not disappoint, the food was faultless, atmosphere was brill, the drinks were spot on and the service was tremendous! Thank you for a really lovely evening, see you soon xx

Only came in for a pint but lovely atmosphere and a well kept pint. Wood fires made a cold afternoon after walking the dog wonderful! Locals are friendly as are the staff!

Looked after 10 cold/ wet cyclist Sat pm. Lovely helpful couple. We will be back.

Had Sunday lunch last week and it was amazing, I would definatly recommend it.
