The New Inn Hotel Description
The New Inn was built in the 15th century to replace an older inn on the site, hence the name. It was originally one of the main lodgings for pilgrims visiting the nearby abbey (now Gloucester cathedral). It is considered the finest existing example of a medieval galleried inn.
