Although I have not stayed at the nook. I pass it every day. If you like planes. It is the best spot to watch the American airforce at work.
Nice little campsite with a great view of Mildenhall air base. Probably wouldn't suit someone who isn't a plain spotter.
Great place to camp and view the coming and going of aircraft at RAF Mildenhall
Fantastic campsite for plane spotting. John is the friendly owner who has been running this site for more than 14 years. It's right next to USAF Mildenhall's perimeter fence, next to the end of the runway.
Spacious caravan, campervan and tent pitches. Electric hookup, showers, toilets, chemical disposal point, rubbish and recycling facilities. There's even a microwave oven and a self-service snack shop.
Best of all, there is a tannoy on the campsite office roof broadcasting the control tower RT!
There may be aircraft noise!!!

Great site, especially if you're in your military aviation as its right next to RAF Mildenhall. Local produce is sometimes out be purchased. Everyone is friendly and the donations go towards keeping the communal facilities open and clean.
