Many of you will know that our company is called Limehouse Inns Limited. The story behind this is that I spent a lot of time in Limehouse London as a child as my mother grew up there and my grandparents still lived there. When Michael bought this bottle of gin earlier in the week, thinking what a coincidence, little did he know that my parents got married in the church pictured on the front .

This is who we are raising for in the charity quiz on Tuesday 24th April. This is a really difficult challenge that takes dedication. Martin’s fundraising efforts will be boosted by the proceeds from the quiz. The funds will then be divided between the two charities

Went one Sunday for a roast dinner, I had the pork belly and my husband had the 3 meat roast. We were both very impressed. Small touches go a long way (homemade sauces, fresh orange juice) all servers were extremely polite and knew the menu well. Busiest between 12 and 2 but serves until 8pm! Definitely going again and taking family and friends too

Visited for a late lunch meeting up with my other half's nephew, his wife and one year old daughter. Prebooked via the website, asked for a high chair and it was there waiting for us. All the staff were friendly. Food was lovely. Choice was great - you could have a snack or a bigger meal. We all had a dessert. Hard to choose as I liked everything. Desserts didn't disappoint! Hope we didn't leave too much of a mess. One year old likes to sort her food out. Big car park out the front and I could see a beer garden out the back which looked nice but we didn't visit it. Anyway, we'll be back definitely. We all had a lovely time.

Such lovely atmosphere! The lovely blonde lady with the bob just makes the experience so much nicer every time! Excellent service!

Lovely olde world pub, been my local for many years. Warm and friendly staff, great food and beer and dog friendly. Only reason they're not on CAMRA's list is because it is a Greene King pub and as we all know CAMRA are cask conditioned beer snobs and only promote pubs who do micro breweries... two barrels a year!

I visited thurs last week with my mum and dad after a long day out and still an hour journey left to get home. The staff are so friendly. We had dinner and it was lovely. We didn't have to wait to long and the food was gorgeous. Really reasonably priced as well. My dad and i both had orange juice and lemonades, deffo the best we have had in a pub. I cant wait to being my hubby here. Thank you it was just what we needed.

User

Great waiting staff and the food was good as always.

Just wish the Landlord would be more friendly and cheerful. He just walks around with a grim officious face on all the time, no acknowledgement or smile for his customers - perhaps we are too much trouble for him? - lucky that's not rubbed off on his staff!!!

User

Great service - nothing too much trouble - dog friendly and gluten free menu what could be better!

User

Great food and nice atmosphere. Would recommend

User

Great food and friendly staff. Although we don't have a dog it was nice to see dogs and their owners welcomed.

User

Dropped in on the way through for some lunch and was some of the best food we have had out for a while, with an amazing outdoor dining area. We will definitely come in again

User

Went on Saturday evening with my grandson ,the service was good we both had the pork belly which was delicious .

User

We visited the Norton Dog by chance and had not booked a table but they were very accommodating, the food is very good and a varied menu, lovely beer's along with friendly staff. we will go back there.

User

We drive past this pub a lot on our way to visit our daughter and granddaughter in Thetford, we've always said that we must stop and go in but never really had the time until yesterday. So glad we did, great waiting staff, nice surroundings and fabulous food, will definitely be visiting again, thank you x

User

Just popped in for a quick drink on way home long time since we have been there looks very nice

Will definitely be going back for a meal soon

User

The staff were lovely , and the food very nice. However I got into a discussion about why my husband got a small bottle of coke and someone had cans ! 1 small bottle about half pint £2.75 . 2 cans of coke a little over a pint £4.20 . Extortion at its best. You don’t mind paying a bit extra but this is ott. Will put me off returning.

User

Popped in today for lunch we sat in the garden which is lovely ! When ordering 2 large lemonades and a fruit shoot we were shocked to be asked to pay nearly £13 ! I also asked for a prawn cocktail as a main dish and was then charged £16 (the salad is lettuce, prawns and a bread roll) I quickly asked the waitress to change my dish but she offered the salad at £10 which is still a lot in my opinion considering most of the Sunday lunch menu is heavy hot food which you don’t want in this weather ! The service was ok, my friends were accused of not paying their bill despite having a receipt after some debate this was settled. Unsure if we will return again unfortunate as we have had some nice meals before in the past.

User

Food delicious and waitresses friendly and very helpful, but the attitude of who seemed to be the bar manager was surprisingly argumentative and sarcastic. She refused to accept that my husband had been given the wrong ale (two real ale enthusiasts, one who worked for the brewery in question were certain it was), refused to replace it, gave back the pint she'd tasted then responded with a very sarcastic 'thank you sir' when this was politely pointed out. When you work in hospitality, if a customer is not satisfied with what you've served, you replace it, regardless of what you actually think. Won't be returning because of her rudeness, shame as the food and ambience is really very good.

User

Very disappointed after visiting on Saturday lunchtime. We waited over an hour for our mains (as 'the ticket got lost in the kitchen'), then another half hour for 2 desserts. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing and, when the desserts were brought to the table, the member of staff had no idea what they were and named them incorrectly. We were witness to a trainee member of staff being loudly told off in front of all customers, which I personally found to be very uncomfortable and totally unprofessional. The bill wasn't brought to the table after we finished and there was absolutely no apology for the problems we experienced. I would be very reluctant to return.

User

So passing by your pub and seen a sign outside saying your serving food 9-9.... brilliant I thought as I’d missed breakfast so brunch would be good... Parked up and went inside at 11.15 to be informed that they stopped breakfast at 11 and start lunch at 12?????..... think you either need to sort out your misleading sign or your staff... was not a happy person
