Spent Saturday afternoon in this good old fashioned pub. Paul's kitchen food was really good. Recommend the hot baguettes especially the beef and onion. Was delicious �

Not obvious from the outside but this pub had a great selection of beers to suit all tastes from blondes to stouts and porters.Decor is in keeping with the "jolly" exterior.Quirky features include a seating area comprised of cinema seats,which suited us perfectly.Definetly not a generic pub by design or drinks.

Certainly visit again when in Lincoln.

I hadn't been in there for about ten years until last week. Still exactly the same. Great beer, great people, friendly bar staff. God I love this pub so much. I spent much of the 90's in here and it hasn't changed because it never needs to!!!!

Having stayed at the Premier Inn many times since it opened we'd never been in the Jolly Brewer as it always seemed quiet from outside and nobody seemed to go in or out of it. How odd but very pleasant then to find upon opening the front door a pretty full and vibrant old fashioned pub! We loved our short stay and will be visiting again for sure. Especially looking forward to sitting out in the beer garden in the summer! B-)

Been going since the early 80'stages till about 12 years ago. Returned in May dreading walking through the door, the only sentence going round and round in my head, " please be the same, please be the same, please be the same "

The first real ale in a pub for 12 years, they only sell John Smiths and Carlsberg where I live, and it's always bloody karaoke night!

As a result it has been the first time I have been to a pub for 12 years.

Been going in for a number of years , well over 30 !! Never changes , great ale with cosmopolitan crowds , of all ages , creeds and shapes and sizes, comfortable Art Deco inner and comfortable beer garden at rear ideal for those long hot soulful summers, perennial favourite , good sounds on juke box too

Amazing food, great atmosphere, really well priced and the best place in Lincoln by a mile for a Sunday roast!

*Best venue in Lincoln for live original music and showcase the best local talent, aswell artwork on display, plus weekly and monthly events for spoken word and open mic nights, as well as being super supportive to hosting charity events (Oxjam Lincoln say thank u!).

Lovely staff you can have banter and chat with. Oh aye not bad for a little tipple of whatever poison you desire. **Cheers**

Somewhat 'alternative' vibe and I like that.

However, I feel that on a Sunday it would be good to have, say, from opening to 7pm as a 'time of difference' - no jukebox nor gaming machines so as to allow a more peaceful experience on a Sunday.

Other than that, love it.

Nice old fashioned pub with good value menu. Relaxed atmosphere and plenty going on , live music etc
