The Old Manse

Lovely owner Val was very chatty and helpful. The breakfast was great and set us up for the whole day. The room we had was set at the back and was susceptible to noise from the corridor and from people in the garden. I would not recommend this room but I it was clean and tidy. I'm sure that others rooms were up to a great standard. The hotel is close to the town which has some excellent places to eat like the main fish and chip restaurant which was delightful. Be sure to take a ride on the steam railway you won't regret it.

2nd time we stayed at the Old Manse and the owner is lovely. She'll get up early for us to cook our breakfast as we have to always leave early. Rooms are also good.

Great stay

Really nice night there. Lovely room and helpful staff. Super breakfast. Definitely gonna go back at some point.

A really nice place to stay, very clean very attentive without being over the top.
I have stayed here the last two years and will be staying again.
Food excellent. Can't fault it.

Food was really nice however the waitress was a bit clumsy and forgot some of our order.
