what can you say not already said good beer. friendly staff and the sun set made up for the plastics. food looked good and seemed to be enjoyed..they do provide dlass if sitting in.
Wonderful pub, excellent reasonably priced food, plus a good section of spirits wines and beers... the only pub in the UK that is actually in the beach !
We called in today for a good pint was busy for a Monday but plenty of staff so not to long to be served the food is excellent too my only little thing is that some of the benches need to be replaced as beyond repair but not on here to judge outside seating

The staff are very friendly made me and my family very welcome. Also order food the burgers � are just amazing ! Very nice beach pub would go there again. And again. The landlord is one of the best in Kent !
Scampi and chips and pint of Whitstable Bay Pale ale, best beer I’ve had in a long time. Would have had more if I’d come on the train!
Lovely pub, superb food and beer, great staff and friendly atmosphere. Spoilt a little by screaming kids and one in particular who consistently was trying to sell his paper aeroplane for £2.00. But not enough for us not to go back again later today.
Love the place, food, drink and not forgetting the art, all top notch.
It's definitely worth a visit smashing pub nice and friendly staff and you can't beat the location.
I love this pub. It’s so picturesque sitting on the beach. The food is excellent, a must to try are the beer battered oysters.

Hubby and I love The Old Neptune ! Every time we visit Whitstable we have a meal and drinks there 😊! The atmosphere is wonderful - you can almost touch the history of the place ! Ambience is something money can’t buy with decor and The Old Neptune has it in spades! In Summer we’ve enjoyed barbecue food outdoors on the beach, and in winter we’ve had cosy meals by the bar after a long walk. We would totally recommend it !
Fantastic Pub. We had a beach party and ordered a fair amount of food up front and they were spot on service, quality and the could not do enough for us. Even included a lot of things we did not consider. Would highly recommend. Seemed really busy and yet service was very organised and quick. They know how to run a pub !!! 🍺👍🏻
Amazing food, staff were friendly and professional absolutely fantastic place to eat.

A trip to Whitstable wouldn’t be complete without watching the sun set from the Old Neptune beer garden. Fab pub, lovely staff and good ale.
'Been a regular at the Neppy since the early '70s - still think of it as my local, even though I live a coupla miles away and don't visit often.. - Always loved the place.. - haven't seen any mention of the diverse range of live music that's been a mainstay of the place since the '80s..? - always worth a look.
Loved our lunch on the beach. Could have done with another veggie dish, other than burger, but the setting and service was great.
Great to know that all the plastic cups biodegradable, I was a bit shocked seeing all the throw away cups and no recycling bins, makes me very happy to know that the are biodegradable and won't end up in a land fill. Thanks old Neptune for clearing that up for me.
First time we visited was yesterday. Had a lovely meal & a drink. A nice cosy pub....staff very friendly and gave us good recommendations on the menu. Will visit again and hopefully the sun will be out x
