Wow ...We had heard lots of good things about this hidden gem ...but is more than lived up to its reputation. ..We had pre ordered the Fruit De Mar...and wow it was outstanding ...some of the best seafood we have ever tasted...service was excellent ..Tia was especially friendly professional ..Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be coming back.

We don’t go to the Old Passage very often but aren’t disappointed when we do! As usual, nice selection of food, & the atmosphere and the service was great. Keep up the good work & standard!

Wanted to find the Severn river today, walked the canals to find an entrance, we couldn't. jumped in the car and drove down a no name road to a dead end. We found an unmarked or non branded house, walked in met the owner of a restaurant "the old passage" We decided to get a light lunch. This would have to be in the top 3 best meals of my life, discovered after that they hold 2 rosettes and a mention in the Michelin guide. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, simple stunning flavours, innovative cooking, fresh local seasonal produce.

Utterly outstanding! It was our 21st anniversary, and we were treated to the most personal service, phenomenal food, and relaxed ambience. This place is an absolute gem... can't wait to visit again! 5 stars simply aren't enough to convey the quality of The Old Passage.

My favourite restaurant! Never disappoints. Such a lovely setting, amazing food and great ambience. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. A must for all seafood lovers.

Just had the most amazing tasting platter/menu! Please try if you like fish! Not fussy just very flavoured and prepared in a way that you will not forget. Something I will not forget. Excellent!

I remember reading the reviews on Tripadvisor a few years ago and I was almost put off by some of the remarks/comments made about the staff/management and hyperinflated prices. But I thought heck we are going and we can make our own mind up when we got there, and I’m glad I did. I have never looked, 3rd visit and The Old Passage is still going strong. Food, ambience and service has always been brilliant every time we have been be it just the two of us or with friends. If you’re after good food and not afraid to part with your money for a treat then I would say go for it. A well deserved award, keep it up. See you soon.

Had the most fabulous lunch today, crispy oysters, grilled lobster and chips with petit four to follow!

Had dinner at the poshest and most beautiful place I've ever eaten! Always wanted to go but couldn't justify the cost...I'm too stingy!!

I bought a mower from the owner of the old passage restaurant in Arlingham.... dinner was part of deal!!!

I have never tasted half the things on the Menu but what an amazing taste experience!!! 7 or 8 (I lost count) course taster menu...we ate for 2 hours!...I tried oyster oh my god so lush and the sauce!!! My favourite was the crab creation...it was the most refreshing and delicious thing to ever enter my mouth!

And the drink!! I don't drink alcohol but they knocked me up a delicious non alcoholic cocktail! Awesome service... awesome food... awesome location.... awesome company.....I may one day eat there again when I'm not feeling stingy...... highly recommend

Great place for summer lunch by the river. Excellent imaginative menu superbly cooked.

Fantastic evening of sisilian wine paired with amazing food. Well worth trying these evenings held on the first Wednesday of every month. Met some lovely people and learned a lot about wine I wouldn’t normally have tried before. Lovely staff in a pretty restaurant surrounded by amazing views. Stayed over and treated to a sumptuous breakfast, scrambled eggs with crab and smoked salmon. Highly recommend! 5*

Excellent service from the exceptionally good staff. Food of equally high quality. 15 of us booked for mum’s 80th birthday, cant thank the team enough for making mum’s day. THANK YOU.

Enjoyed a most delicious tasting menu at The Old Passage, Arlingham today, an explosion of interestingly combined flavours. The service was excellent and of course I would have to say fab art work to peruse.....

Beautifully stunning food, lovely attentive staff, a nice atmosphere and gorgeous dog crunchie!! Very accommodating of my coeliac with no fuss made and minimal changes to the menu. A real gem and well worth a visit! ÔøΩ

Another superb lunch at The Old Passage. Sally and her amazing team are celebrating their 10th birthday this month and still as welcoming and friendly as always. Took 91 year old Dad in his wheelchair for first outing since recent hospitalisation and they were very happy to provide small portions with the proviso that if he wanted more to just say so! Beautiful fish soup and fritto misto to start, scallops and monkfish to follow then catalana with rhubarb for dad and homemade ice cream & sorbet for me. Dad still talking about it and will definitely take up Sally's offer of a takeaway flask of fish soup when he fancies it! We are so lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant on our doorstep but if we had to drive there that would not be a problem!

Amazing! This place is a little treasure set in great location. Fabulous food, definately one of the best seafood we've had in a long time, the other half is a chef of 40yrs and hard to please, no complaints here. Celebrated our 22yrs anniversary, the staff are very welcoming and very attentive. They even brought out handmade chocolate platter with a little message, delicious and lovely surprise. Thank you all so much for the perfect afternoon. After all the tasty food there's a nice walk along the river to work off those calories. Will be back for sure.
