We had the Sunday carvery and it was lovely. The staff were also very nice, checking if we need more drinks. We arrived early as a party of 11 but were able to be seated although we couldn't goto the buffet until the time we booked the table for which was fine. We would defiantly return again.

Wonderful team, lovely place. We stayed and had dinner here in August with our immediate families, on the night before our wedding and we were so so so impressed. The team were very helpful and friendly with our queries in the lead up to our stay - nothing was too much trouble and they even offered to create some off-menu dinner options especially for us (if we pre-ordered a few days ahead - which is fair enough) as we had a large number of vegetarians in our group. The staff were so attentive during our stay, always greeting us with a smile! The bedrooms were lovely - trendy, spacious and so comfortable. The dinner itself was amazing!!! The food was outstanding. Very high quality and thoroughly recommended. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

We recently had our wedding reception at The Old Red Lion and we are so happy with the standard of care and expert advice from start to Finnish from all the staff, they made us feel so welcome and catered to all of our needs and request without any difficulty! The food was amazing and all our guests were very happy. We also stayed the night and the rooms were at a very high standard, very clean, comfortable and had tasteful decor. Waited a little long but still nice

Fairly good meal, personally felt the starts lacked but ultimately had a good evening.
