Also thanks to Hit Food Bank for ...the donations of ingredients and the kind gent who dropped in a box of vegetables he had bought for us to cook with! Old Rydon Inn - Feed in Need! We need your help! We are currently volunteering alongside ‘Kingscare’ reaching out to the vulnerable, elderly and socially isolated individuals in our local community. We at The Old Rydon are preparing and delivering basic homecooked meals with no charge and Kingscare are carrying out basic shopping and collecting prescriptions. To continue to support these people we need donations no matter how big or small! ... Please, please donate to Kingscare to help them and us to take care of these vulnerable people at this scary, confusing and potentially life threatening time in life

We have a lot of cauliflower leaves and stumps, swede peelings, parsnip tops etc that are going into our food waste every Thursday/Friday. Is this suitable to be used for animal food and if so how could we let people know?
