An amazing extra large Smithy Breakfast from a couple of weeks ago. Please remember we are closed for the next 2 days to enjoy some family time together. We will be open again on Boxing Day at 10am! Lovely to host Sophie's 30th birthday at The Smithy last night.
The group of 28 had sharing board starters - Moroccan Falafels, Chicken Liver Parfait with pickled vegetables and piccalili gel, Beetroot, Gin & Orange Cured Salmon, Duck Leg Croquettes with dark cherry gel, Houmous, Cruditeés, Flat Breads, Bread, Olives. Mains of Roasted Cod Bouillabaisse and vegetables, Mushroom & Aduki Bean Parcel with roast vegetables and a toasted hazelnut dressing, Duo of Derbyshire Roast L...amb with potato terrine and pea purée. Desserts of Baileys Cheesecake, Eton Mess and Dark Chocolate Brownie with ice cream.

It's a beautiful day in Monyash today ☀️ get out and enjoy the Peak District autumn sun! We are open 9-5 on Sundays 👏

It's that time of year again where all you really want to do is sit in your pjs in front of a nice warm fire with a warming autumnal bowl of soup! 🍲🍞

Good Morning! Happy Sunday! Treat day at the weekend!! Why not pop in and have a Smithy's Breakfast, it's our best seller!! Local bacon, sausages, free range eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, Derbyshire oatcake and a toasted bun, the works! 🍴🥓🍳

We've had an amazing evening last night catering for a big group of campers staying locally at Knotlow Farm 😊 these dessert were incredible, they are 2 of our favourite desserts to do - Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownie and Raspberry and Vanilla Pod Cheesecake 💕 Please give us an email or call if you'd like to come to us with a group or like us to come and cook for you 💕

We had a busy evening of prep for our group booking tonight 💕 12 adults and 15 kids coming to enjoy some delicious food with us, the kids are going to be on gourmet fish fingers and some amazing burgers topped with pulled pork, monterey jack cheese and bacon and the adults are on curry -- we've made onion bahjis, naan breads, creamy chicken curry, vegetable balti and veg channa paneer with rice and poppadoms too. AND desserts of dark chocolate and caramel brownies and fresh raspberry and vanilla pod chessecake. All our cakes are homemade at the cafe, our chocolate cake is always a popular choice! Delicious served warm with icecream too!

A super tasty Chickwich with Chips 🍴 my sister claims these are the best chips in Derbyshire! She's easily pleased!! 🍴

A Jacket Potato with cheese and ham from yesterday 🍴 we do so so many fillings for our jackets, paninis, sandwiches and oatcakes; you can pick and choose whatever you fancy 👍
