We had a long walk on the beach then lunch. First time we have been here, a warm welcome in lovely surroundings. We had steak pie and mash and goats cheese and beetroot tart with chunky chips. Finished with the cheese cake which was amazing. Delicious food and then we got a huge discount! Offers are often available! Amazing! Thank you! We will be back!

Had a meal here last night and it was lush! We were served by Mary who was an absolute star. She even sorted us a taxi back to our cottage when we were struggling to book one! Food was lovely and service was really quick. Highly recommend and will visit again if I'm ever back in the area.

User

Fabulous!! Came in for a meal for my sister's birthday on Friday night. Curtis and the gang had the table set out lovely with the supplies I'd provided. The meal was beautiful and we couldn't fault it. An absolutely brilliant night, made that little bit more special by the wonderful staff. Thanks guys!!

Fab meal tonight with my daughter and grandson. Had the steak & wine deal for £25 and it was cooked perfectly medium to rare.. Plus the 50% off deal on the menu was good value too, grandsons fish bites must have been nice as he ate it all. We shared the cheeseboard for dessert and its was really nice.

User

Celebrated my mams birthday here yesterday, all the staff were absolutely fantastic, the food was delicious and everyone had a good time. Thank yous all so much, we will be back as everything was absolutely great! Would 100% definitely recommend the storehouse!

User

Our second visit and food was lovely couldn't fault it. Asked for the desert menu and waited and waited and no one came to take our order so we decided to leave. Asked for the bill to be given the wrong bill which luckily we checked as it was far more expensive then our bill. Think you need to maybe get some more waiting staff. Gentleman working was excellent and had us laughing the young girls however need a bit more training. Maybe lesson 1) after giving a desert menu come back to the table to take the order.

I have been a few times for Sunday roast, and it gets better every time we go, Curtis took me for my birthday this month and it was absolutely lovely, the meal was lush and so was the company, we had a brilliant night.

User

Was disappointed with the slow service and menu choices

Everyone in my party thought their chosen main meal was superb but dessert let it down

I've ate here 3 or 4 times now and found that, generally, the main meals are great but I won't be going back after this visit due to the service issues and expensive limited menu

Could do better

User

Very disappointed went here last night was busy to be expected for a bank holiday.we used to go all the time.theres no other meals on a Sunday just carvery & kids meals.i had carvery which was not nice at all very bland tasteless.my son had kids cod & chips which I did have to ask where they were since I had finished my meal before his arrived and only arrived as i had to ask also with not what we asked on to which he left all the fish as the batter was horrible no crisp to the fish at all was thick doughy mixture.but the manager was very nice apologised and took the 2 meals off our bill which we were grateful for.but we won't be back its definitely not like it used to be

User

Waited a while at bar and only one serving.. 3 bar staff looked up but went about there business.. wasn't pleased.. carvery was nice but not very warm.. setting is lovely the decorations are spot on.. shame I hadn't realised it was a dog friendly place.. I won't be back.. don't like to eat food where dog's are.. but great for those who have dog's on the nice walks in this area.

User

Lovely surroundings, very clean and cool inside on a very hot day. As it was Sunday there was a carvery on and I have to say it was awful. The mash had lumps of raw potato in it and the rest of the veg was pretty poor too. Diced swede that we thought was probably frozen and the only green veg was Brussels sprouts (in July!). Very disappointing. I won't be rushing back.

User

5 of us went for Sunday lunch were there for 11.45 very accomadating with table as very busy however the cavery was bland and tasteless and not hot even though just put out, would not be returning for Sunday lunch. Usually a lovely evening meal too.

User

Went into the store house for dinner last night, the food was okay but the service was diabolical. The menu is very basic and quite limited. Was informed when we sat down at 6.50 that we couldn’t order food till 7.30 as the chef had burnt his hand and they were backed up with orders??? Other people were served around us as they had pre booked their table, couldn’t understand how their money was more valued than ours. Waited 30 mins to order a drink!! Staff were reluctant to serve us. My parents and I have had our van on this site for 5 yrs, we have been informed that our site fees are increasing again and we would dearly like to know where this additional money is being spent. The high turn over of staff is a concern, not to mention the security of the site overall. We thoroughly enjoy coming to the caravan but prefer to spend our money externally to the site where you get a far better choice and service

User

Waited 15 mins to be seated then another 15 for order to be taken(after booking) service was terrible and that's being nice! When we eventually got to the carvery it looked good but all veg tasted the same😩And the meat was dry poss over cooked. My daughter ordered the child's spag Bol which never came! The staff who served us were the worst I have even come across and we're all walking around clueless it was unbelievable. Then the spaghetti turned up and had been sitting on the kitchen server for at least 20 mins under the hot plate, the cook had pressed the serving bell 5 times and no one moved to serve, one guy got his own for his son after been fed up of waiting. You couldn't write this and make it up😞 Utter shambles from start to finish I could go on but have better thinks to do on a bank holiday. Anyone who says the food is good must never have had a good meal in there life and must be easy pleased.

And why you would have a guy playing the guitar in a family pub is beyond me so annoying and I am a dog person also but would never take my dogs into a eating house when people and kids eating lunch.

My good lady spoke to the manager who didn't give a flying fook. Worst carvery and service I have ever come across utter garbage.

User

Me and a group of friends have been in tonight for drinks 7 of us in total and would of been meals for us all. They have a kids entertainer on as they have done for the past two weeks we have been in and my son has always been allowed to play. But apparently tonight they aren’t insured for my son to play as he isn’t a member!! Then they say he can play this once if he has an adult with him as they aren’t insured, well sorry about 7 children were in the group and 1 adult the entertainer and no other parents! Absolutely livid with this place. Won’t be back anymore, how can they take your money but not have the heart to allow your 2 year old son to play with the other children then expect him to understand that he’s not allowed as he is not a member. They have no gratitude for local trade in their quiet times!!!!!

User

I had arrange a get together with friends which we postponed due my mam's death meal was lovely but after meal for the lady manager to come over to our group and accuse us of pinching lights of table was disgusting and no apology really spoilt the night and won't go back or be recommending to anybody!!!!

Staff need update on customer service as ignorant immature and did not know how to deal with situation x

User

Dined here with 8 school friends from years gone by. Had a great evening and lovely catch up. Food was good. Will never return though. At the end of the evening the bar manager came across to where we were sitting and asked for "the lighters". We thought she wanted a light for a cigarette but then she continued that the "lights" wouldn't be any good because we couldn't light them ourselves. Was a bit perplexed at first but the penny finally dropped and realised that she was accusing the group of stealing false candlelights from the table. Bit of a sour end to a lovely evening. Known these girls since school and they'd give rather than take. To the Storehouse, if you're going to accuse folks of thieving make sure you've got your facts right first. Terrible hospitality and no apology. I've rated this one because I can't rate zero!
