Wow I can honestly say it has been a while since I have such good food and not feel like I have been robbed highly recommend this little gem of a local pub with friendly staff and fantastic food you have all got to give it a try

Went for lunch with my mum after hearing such amazing things about the food. I have to say we definitely weren't disappointed!! We both had the 8oz ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection and came with chips, onion rings, the most gorgeous mushroom sauce, peas, grilled tomato and salad, and was a real plate full for only £7.50!!!

The staff were so lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome :-) I used to drink in the Kings Arms on a Saturday night when I was younger and it was always buzzing in there so it's great to see the place doing so well :-) Keep up the amazing work xxx

Went for lunch today with my husband and two boys (1 & 3). They couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly greeting as we walked in, lovely cosy pub with great food and drinks. Can’t believe we have never been in before, we definitely be making a regular visit!

Went for lunch here yesterday, highly recommend the food was lovely and very reasonable prices also the staff are very welcoming and friendly will definitely be back

We’ve had our daughters 1st birthday meal there this evening and can’t fault anything � the staff went above and beyond for us and made the whole experience perfect �� they catered for 27 people and the food and service was spot on. thanks for everything guys � can’t recommend enough. Really really enjoyes it best pub grub I've ever been to food was brilliant bar staff were every good and very friendly I defiently will be going again �

My elderly mother and friends visited on Saturday they were served at the table as they all look a little frail� the service was pleasant and helpful the food was plentiful and went down very well with all four. These Ladies who lunch on a Saturday are very fussy will certainly be returning for there lunches. Thank you very much.

Just looked for somewhere to get a meal in the afternoon, heard about the food here and people saying it was good so popped in , was very happy I did ! Food was fantastic, good portions and very well priced !! Staff were great and definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for above average pub type grills and steaks for very affordable price ! Oh and also serves all day unlike some who stop at 2 ish !!!

I have spent the last few months traveling up an down the country and it has got to be said... After eating in many rather expensive and some quite exclusive places there are a few very important things that make a great restaurant.



The food.. yes is awesome... the drink well goes without saying there is something for everyone here... but the atmosphere and the overall friendliness of the staff is exceptional.



Came, to be honest being a bit skeptical but left with a very full belly and very happy indeed.



Kids meals were great. Not seen my daughter and son (3 and 7) eat so quickly in a while when in a pub.



Well be back very soon hopefully as like the guy on the table next to me was doing want to work my way through the menu.

Firstly I would like to Thankyou for choosing me as the winner of your competition this week! My Mum and Dad called me after what they could only describe as a great night from start to finish. The fuss you gave them, the food (which they said was very tasty)drinks and personal touches were much appreciated and they both felt totally overwhelmed with your warmth and kindness! Fantastic place. Paul Helen and their staff went out of their way to provide the perfect venue for our family celebration even gifting us a bottle of bubbles to help the celebration get under way. Would recommend in an instant!

Called in on the off chance for lunch on Sunday, there was space for us & so glad there was. Food was great & excellent value for money. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Called in for food tonight after seeing all the good reviews. Definitely weren't disappointed! The fillet steak was delicious as was the mushroom sauce. Fantastic value foe money. The burger off the £5 menu was excellent too. Will definitely be calling in again.

Best place ever. The food is amazing for the price you pay, cannot fault it. Its also friendly, accommodating and a beautiful building. If you have not tried here, try it! You won't regret it

3 off us went for fathers day and had the special for that day 3 course meal for £12.00 the whole of the courses were spot on really enjoyed by all 3 off us. service was very good and staff very friendly would definitely be going back lovely food for a fantastic price highly recommended x
