It was great to welcome to the Oldest Sweet Shop visitors from the #ExploreGB trade event organised by VisitBritain and Visit Harrogate this morning.
It was lovely to meet the international journalists from South Korea, Australia, India, Canada, US and UK!
All left happy with bags of #Yorkshire Mixture 🍬🍭

The Oldest Sweet Shop is open all bank holiday weekend! The opening hours are:
Sunday 5th May: 11am - 5pm (Tour De Yorkshire day!) Bank Hols Monday: 11am - 4pm

The bike decorations are out! We look forward to welcoming the Tour de Yorkshire to Pateley Bridge tomorrow (Sunday 5th May) The cycle race will go past our shop at approx 15.47 to 16.07 #TDY #tourdeyorkshire

Was lovely filming with Penny Thorpe Books today for a Channel 5 TV programme!
We're not allowed to say what the show will be called (but can say it involves chocolate!) 🍫🍫🍫😍😍😍

We look forward to seeing the below TV Show 'Britain In Bloom' where you will see owner Keith and family take part in the RHS Britain In Bloom competition!
The show features the Oldest Sweet Shop and the community of Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire working together in the gardening competition.

A first for the Oldest Sweet Shop! At 2.15pm today Derek Huckle got down on one knee and proposed to Mandy Skinner in the shop
Delighted to say Mandy accepted and the engaged couple plan on marrying in September in Thame, Oxfordshire.
