after the first visit and no booking the were due to close but looked after us and were fab the second time we booked lol what a great and amazing time we had amazing food and staff are amazing well done to the amazing cheff and kitchen team also the owners thank you again

Went to the Olive Tree with friends as part of our annual trip to Liverpool. Everyone had a wonderful time. Fantastic food, combined with a lovely atmosphere. Mike, Kate and Zoe couldn't have made us more welcome. It will definitely become a regular feature on our visits to Walkaway and Liverpool. A big thanks and a massive thumbs up for a lovely evening.

Went here on 5/10/18 when the big man giant was in town. Lovely staff and food stunning. I had two courses which where garlic bread with a basil sauce dip and a veggie burger with wirral home made chips and home made slaw. The whole meal was stunning and beautifully presented. Piping hot food and staff acted professionally under pressure like nothing is TOO big like a GIANT in town to make them crack. My mum had the three course and had the same as me but had the home made cheesecake as well to which she said it was 100 out of 10. It did look very nice and very well presented.



With the high standards the price is very reasonable and I would have been more than happy to pay more.

We've just tried out The Olive Tree as it is under the new management of Jayne Jackson. The breakfast (served 'til 4pm) was excellent & the Cheshire Farm ice cream slid down a treat. Supporting another local business. I'll definitely be back to sample the new evening menu.

We went to the olive tree on Friday first time under new management. We were delighted with the choice and quality of the food. I am a notoriously fussy eater and there was lots to choose from. The portion size was really generous and so much local food which is so nice to see. They have a home blend of gin which is worth a try and a good choice of wine. I recommend the calamari and the sea bass was perfect. Thanks again - we will definitely be back!

We visited last night before the theatre and it was fantastic. Lovely family run restaurant with great service, delicious food and atmosphere. We will be back!

We have been to The Olive Tree a few times now. The service is second to none by attentive and friendly staff. It is a local bistro type rustic resteraunt run by a local friendly couple who will treat you like you always wish a resteraunt would treat you. There is a varied menu with great choices including vegetarian and sometimes it's difficult to choose what to have. The food is very well presented and puts most of the big restersunt to shame. I would definitely recommend it and we'll worth a visit, ime sure you won't be disappointed. *****

Tried the new taster menu Wednesday and loved it. The new owner is friendly, staff are attentive and welcoming and the food was incredible. We all highly rate it and will definately be returning.

My husband and I were here on Friday evening (20th July) celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary. The food, staff and atmosphere was first class as always. When we spoke to the owner who made us feel very welcome, we told him that The Olive Tree is our go to place for special occasions. Love going there, especially when the food is top notch but at extremely reasonable prices. Thank you for making us feel special. Will definitely see you soon. Cath and Dave Murphy.

Haven't visited for a while and wasn't disappointed. The food was great ('posh' fish finger sandwiches) and the service was spot on. The staff and management were lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome

Had a great meal for mother's day. Jayne the new owner couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Lovely food and attentive service and the price of the wine is so reasonable. Loved it.

Great little local restaurant, the owner Mike & his wife (sorry didn’t catch her name!) were really great hosts. Lovely glass of Pinot & Italian beer. We just called for a quick drink as we were passing and decided to have pizza while sat in the last of the bank holiday Sunday sunshine & it was perfect for people watching. Great to see a diverse mix of people coming in and out & Mike spoke positively about all the other restaurants and bars in the area which is so refreshing. Working together will make the area blossom! Keep it up. Really felt like we were on our holidays, looking forward to trying the full menu soon. ��

First meal at the olive tree tonight it was amazing, I had garlic mushrooms and a burger my husband had the chicken strips and aubergine moussaka . The staff go above and beyond in customer service, the atmosphere is First Class, will be back x

First ever visit to the Olive Tree and can't wait to visit again. The staff were very attentive and offered fantastic recommendations from the menu. The food was delicious; I would definitely recommend the fish and chips. Can't wait to sample the new menu!

Excellent, we had the all day breakfast, all freshly made, staff very friendly. Will definitely call again next time we are in the area.

Could not recommend the olive tree enough went for our 1st wedding anniversary last night. First time we have been under the new owner and it was excellent. I had the duck HEAVEN and the cheesecake was out of this world . Staff were so nice and even told me about the Wirral gin l was drinking. All l can say is if you haven't been your missing out .

Cannot recommend the Olive Tree enough. The new management Mike and Jayne did everything possible to make my Mum's surprise 60th celebration so special, can't fault the food, the service or the venue. We had 30 for a meal and it was fantastic. So nice to have a local venue that can accommodate parties such as this. We will definately be back. Thanks again.
