Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Great range of drinks

Yeah, quite nice but the room was a bit awkward: Sockets so low U have to put the kettle on the floor to plug it in; nice little TV but U can't see it from the bed because the footboard is in the way; and a challenging firedoor at the top of the stairs - not easy to negotiate with a bag in your hand. Staff friendly. Very nice view.

Very reasonable prices, good value meals and friendly service

Dog friendly. Nice old fashioned pub with good beer from local Brewery. Does reasonably priced food which seems popular but we are not eating. Definitely worth the little extra walk. The Brewery pub is also very nice nearby.

Stopped here while doing the Lakes and Dales loop cycle ride. Great pub, rooms very good and reasonably price. Food excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful when it came to storing the bikes. Worth considering if you are in the town or doing the L&D loop

A very friendly atmosphere, always accommodateing for our large group. The lunchtime specials are very reasonably priced.

Not sure if this pub has changed hands..... But fantastic food at great prices... Definitely pay a visit if your in the area!!

Lovely local pub with good food. It's also has a large selection of Kirkby Lonsdale brewery beers as the same family run both.
