Half Term Halloween Week! Scary looking it might be, this milkshake is full of the truly terrifying indulgence. Be afraid, very afraid to like this one too much! Chocolate Fudge Brownies, Ghostly Marshmallows muddled together with dairy iceScream.....finished with freshly whipped cream, brownies and toasted monster marshmallow (more than a mouthful marshmallow if you get what we mean!)

Would like to thank the staff at the tearooms for a wonderful mad hatters high tea this afternoon, food and service was outstanding it was a first experience for myself and my guests for a 60th celebration and what a fantastic one it was we will definately be returning in the very near future and cannot recommend this venue for any occasion highly.so huge thanks once again and kerry you were fantastic through making the booking and accomodating all our requirements so huge thankyou to you.x

We treated my Nan to the new afternoon tea in the Palm Room yesterday and it's safe to say nobody was disappointed! The food looked and tasted incredible, service was quick and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would recommend this to everyone!

We had a fabulous afternoon tea for 16 today, the food was excellent. I had two children under 4 with me and nothing was to much trouble, I would just like to say thank you to the staff for making us so welcome.

Thank you for the outstanding afternoon tea yesterday.

Endless tea, lovely food all presented beautifully in very nice surroundings, and excellent service from the staff, nothing was too much trouble for Kerry.

I would highly recommend.

My family and I visited The Orangery Tea House for lunch on Saturday. Between us we had a steak & kidney pie, sausage and mash, Stilton & bacon burger and sweet potato fries, kids fish & chips and a cheese burger and fries. Despite it being a popular destination for couples, families and groups of friends enjoying a festive lunch our food arrived in good time and was absolutely delicious. We were made to feel very welcome, as was our dog, and we couldn’t have asked for better service from everyone we met. There was a lovely, happy atmosphere and the cafe and restaurant were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and tidy. I was delighted by our visit and we’ve all decided that we’ve found our new favourite eatery! We will be back very soon!

Held our friends baby shower here last month for 20 people, five with dietaries. Kelly and Aaron were amazing, nothing was too much trouble; they even put up our decorations and supplied helium for our balloons. The afternoon teas were truly amazing and the crockery/every little detail was simply perfect. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Have had lunch a couple of times which was excellent and well priced. Mostly go for coffee and divine cake a couple of times a month. Always take members of the family when they visit. Great place excellent service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!! Best afternoon tea in Southampton by far!! The new Palm Room looks incredible, such a beautiful setting and wonderful atmosphere! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!! There is nothing else like this in Southampton, you would have to travel to London to get anything close, all round a great experience for everyone.

Best chocolate malt shake ever, great flexibility with swapping things should you ask (husband happy with breakfast). Awesome black forest gateux truly.....I'm always worried cakes can be dry....not this one!!!! Lastly great staff...smiles all round. Helped me when could see I was struggling with tap. Lol

I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I will certainly be recommending it to all my family and friends!!! This was a lovely place to visit. The food was very good, fresh and well presented. The service is a little slow but people are very friendly. I had crispy bacon and avocado salad without dressing and earl grey tea.

I'd like to say it's rubbish as it's too busy now, but it's not, great food, great service and enjoyed it, not 5 stars only because we couldnt get a shady seat, more parasols maybe

First but not last time, had a lovely lunch which was reasonably priced. The staff are lovely will definitely be taking others there with me.

Very slow service today, scampi undercooked, sent back, still semi-raw inside - disappointed

I ordered a breakfast and asked for no tomatoes. The breakfast came and unfortunately had tomatoes on the plate after telling a staff member i had an allergy to them. They took the plate away and just removed the tomatoes leaving the eggs with tomato residue .

The website suggests they cater for vegetarian and vegan diet but this is not the case. All products are fried in same oil so hash browns on vegetarian menu are cooked with meat and fish products as are the chips. Very disappointed that a newly refurbished cafe hasn’t thought to cater probably for the diets they advertise as providing for.
