Why do people go to the theatre and chat all through the performance. George Michael tribute was spoilt tonight. Have a drink and have a laugh but if you want to catch up do it in the bar.

Went to watch Hairspay with my friend and our daughter's. It was an amazing show smiled all the way through. Staff were lovely. As good as any west end show. Well done to all at the Orchard. Thank you.

Went to see Hairspray last night and wanted to say what a fantastic show it was - one of the best I've seen including up at the West End - highly recommend!!

Took my 14 year old daughter to see Hairspray last night and we had a fabulous time, staff were very helpful and food was lovely. Thanks for a great night, will definitely come again �

This theatre for a first visit was fantastic. Very helpful staff, great facilities and reasonable prices for refreshments. We had a great view and will be back. Thoroughly recommend this venue for shows and we travelled 25miles to see Cilla.

I've been to The Orchard Theatre 3 times now to watch Hairspray and going again Friday. It's such a lovely little Theatre the staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to and there's parking which is an added bonus. Toilets were clean. I would definitely recommend this Theatre.

I went to see hairspray yesterday 9/9/17 and it was fantastic the production cast set music you just wanted to get up and dance whenever I've been to see a show always good service polite staff it is well worth the money xxx will be recomending and coming back xx

I have been here for a few years and seen so many shows. The staff are great on the day they are very helpful. When booking tickets they always find me the best seats where I can see the stage.



The only let down is there are no audio description for the great shows. Like hairspray, Our house etc. But overall they cater for people with disabilities and you don't have a long queue for disabled toilets �

Great venue and excellent variety of shows. The staff are very helpful and a special thanks to Jane in the booking office who sorted out an extra ticket for our party at short notice for this evening 's performance of Think Floyd.

ELKIE BROOKS was fantastic! Good seats comfortable seats and pleasant surrounding.

Theatre itself is great. Over the years the ticket prices have gradually risen making it nearly as expensive as some London shows. And £2 for a bottle of water?! Only catch me once. Next time I'll buy one from Aldi next door! The show itself though was fantastic.

I've been here a few times now, the latest being to watch Hairspray. This is possibly one of the best shows I have seen! and it's fantastic that there is such a wide choice of shows and productions here. It is a great theatre to go to.



However, I do have some negative comments.



The seating could do with being staggered so you can see between the people in the row before you (someone who is 5ft 3 struggles to see past the 6ft person directly in front).



There needs to be more toilet facilities for ladies. I know there are always queues for them, but during the intermission it is ridiculously long and the entire break was spent waiting to get in there.



The cost of refreshments are extortionate! £2 for a 500ml bottle of water!! You can get the same size for around 60p in Aldi, Boots etc. How this price can be justified this is beyond me.



Finally, ticket prices seem to have increased so much that they are almost in line with the West end, which is disappointing when you think that the local Theatre is supposed to be more affordable for everyone. This is a shame and something that stops a lot of families from attending other shows.

Fabulous show but marred by the v poor quality seating. The seats are so old it is like sitting on a breeze lock and the arms are shiny were the velour has worn away. My seat had dropped slightly making me slide forward - not great in a confined place!

In view of recent terrorist attacks in such random places, I was extremely disappointed with security! We walked into the theatre without a bag search, which has only just become a thing in London, but we were not stopped by any member of staff and our tickets were not checked at all. It would have been easy to walk in and sit in a vacant seat without paying for a ticket there were a few spare! On the whole the Theatre was clean and well maintained and the show was excellent!

This theatre has really gone down hill! Filthy dirty outside the entrance, sweet counter not open so has to go to coffee bar, which wasn’t able for some obscure reason to take credit/debit cards! Queue was so long it was questionable as to whether we’d actually get our stuff before the show started( the 2 old girls behind the counter were doing their best but maybe it’s time to retire)!

They announced in the auditorium that for the show(Jane McDonald) you could take photos but no flash.... someone obviously forgot to tell the jobsworth old boy usher this! He continually got into fracas with people around me, getting right into their faces and pointing into their faces telling them they can’t take photos.... This caused upset and argument... it ruined my evening as I was not able to enjoy Jane with the repeated commotion

Located at the side in the small walk way to the stage having the stars of the show climbing over myself and husband in his wheel chair

This facility needs improving
