Went to The Owl for Mothers day lunch with my family (party of 8) and had a fantastic time. The food was lovely & service was brilliant, the staff were really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend it :)

Went for sunday dinner today. Loved it. Service was great and staff was friendly. Will be visiting again.

We went to the Owl for Sunday lunch last week the food was lovely & the kids meals were also great. We haven't been for over a year as our previous visit the service was awful & the food not good either. We were very shocked to have great food & service.

We go to the owl quite often the food is amazing and everybody is friendly 10/10

Visited here 4 the first time always looks lovley on face book posts and friends recommendation ... was lovley very cosy and warm .. waiter treated us lovley even changed my drink . Food was piping hot and all lovley meals .. 7 of us and some of us very hard 2 please especially me � but full marks 4 everything.... lovley seating and very nice all round... Will b visiting again � merry Christmas ����� also didnt have 2 pre order 4 Xmas and still could pick off Christmas menu .. and could choose off both menus . �

The owl is decorated exceptionally and the theme of owls runs tastefully throughout the interior and exterior. It carry’s a real charm and class with a surprisingly reasonable priced menu.

The main highlight for me was the great atmosphere created by the staff and lead by the lovely Charlie who saved my day after I broke down and was waiting for recovery down the road from the pub. I was very hungry and the recovery services came 45mins early then they warned me they would, and so I had to rush away. With this news Charlie was very accommodating and thoughtful and helped to hurry the process up in the kitchen and send me on my way with everything I required neatly prepared in boxes. This was neither a challenge or a hiderance for them and he helped keep the atmosphere calm and collected. The food was still cooked beautifully.

Service with a smile... I think Charlie will certainly do that. He can help a bad day turn bright alongside all his lovely staff that he manages. Big Thankyou!

Massive thank you to all the staff for the amazing food, service and atmosphere last night (New Year’s Eve). We had a fabulous evening thanks to your hard work, fun and welcoming staff and beautiful food. See you soon! �

Lovely atmosphere lots of places to sit inside and out. Lovely food. Bar staff and waitress were lovely. Very polite and chatty but not overly. Loved it x

Had a fabulous meal with friends to celebrate their birthday the food was magnificent and the service was brilliant thank you for a memorable evening we will be back

Fab and funky decor and amazing food! Kids portion and quality was really good for my two hungry boys. Sharer options were fantastic with a good range of foods to pick. Will be going back for a date night without the kids

The steak and lobster was beautiful me and the Mrs really enjoyed it, beer and wine was lovely desert was delicious, will be coming back again. Miller and Carter over rated thanks for being made welcome

Service was quick foot was yummy the blonde waitress was amazing the rainman of orders! However we had one moody waitress who even huffed at me when I said my son ordered chocolate sauce on his ice cream, the kids food should have come out first imo, The kids menu has a brilliant colouring in feature but no crayons. So chef you were brilliant the place was warm clean and nice blonde lady you have a brilliant memory

We have been here a few times but on Saturday evening it was poor. When booking asked for 7:15;7:30 but was told only 7pm was available so turned up & seated took 20 mins to get drinks and had to ask to order. They then became very attentive regarding drinks & kept asking if we wanted top ups so not to notice the wait. Starters came out but had to ask for more toast for pate, as big slab & 1 small slice cut in half. We then waited for main course asking after 30 mins where it was, another 10 mins & a chap came to offers us a free drink, then said there been a problem we haven't put your order through & they haven't started cooking it yet. Mine was the last to arrive, the Wexford steak, which could have been nice but the sauce was cold and two cold bits of solid blue cheese stuck in the middle, we gave up after that as we had waited long enough to get wasn't worth complaining. Didn't bother with desserts. If they sit you next to the kitchen door ask to move immediately we had it banging all evening til we said something n they put a cloth in it, not hard to use a stopper. Can't think we will rush back now disappointing really 😕

Wasn’t sizzling at all.

Chicken was bland couldn’t taste any spice

And the hummus had a crust on it and water was just chucked in the bowl smeared everywhere...

I asked for some hot sauce or sweet chilli because I said politely it was bland and tasteless, couldn’t taste any seasoning or spice, came out 5 mins later with a bowl of microwaved sweet chilli sauce with parsley and coriander in �I said wow ok �what’s this. The waiter said oh the chef is just experimenting �think he was.



Service was slow
