Won a competition for Free Brunch for 4 - on my birthday! So we went down for our treat, which was lovely, freshly cooked to perfection and very tasty. We all had The Royal cooked breakfast. Service was great. Thankyou so much!

Went with my old school friends. The place is lovely and clean and the Classic Burgers with fries and onion rings are to die for. Very friendly and relaxed setting to catch up on gossip.

We attended yesterday for our sons 21st birthday. We just wanted to thank all the staff who made it so special for him by bringing out his cake and doing everything to make our visit lovely. We would highly recommend, the food was lovely and there was 13 of us having 3 courses each. The staff were amazing helping whenever necessary and admiring our superhero cake.

Thank you all so much and we will be back again soon.

Thanks for a great meal last night , yes it was quite busy and we did wait a little while for food but was all cooked lovely and we enjoyed our meal. The waitress called rachael made the night she was totally brilliant ,bubbly and you couldn't ask for a more friendly person to serve you.x

My partner and I tried this restaurant for the first time this evening. Was greeted by a really friendly, lovely young lady called Rachael who showed us our table and explained the menu. Our waitress Emily was also very friendly and was attentive to anything we required. The food was beautifully cooked, portions were just right and the desserts we had were actually the best we've tasted in a long time. Spacious restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and a clean kept garden. Definitely won't be the last time we visit here. Thank you Oyster Bed, a thoroughly enjoyable time had by both.

Had a great starter hot wings, and I had mix Grill Main course, staff are really good and punctual in serving the courses

Booked a table on line got seated upon arrival extensive menu and good value, I read one review that someone was shocked that a Burger meal was ten quid! Well unless you have a Mac d take away a tenner for a 1/4 pounder and all the trimmings is below average prices

The waitress worked very hard to keep us fed and watered, overall a good value lovely meal

Being served by a girl called Rachel. Second day, the best service I've ever had. She is incredible and hilarious.

Been going there regularly for three years. Apart from a few occasions when they were short of staff and a couple of technical problems its very good. Drinks are value for money staff are polite and the food very good.

Ate at the oyster bed today with my wife, daughter, son in law and granddaughter. Had a great experience. The food was very good and excellent value. Nothing was too much trouble for our bubbly waitress Rachael. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

A slow start on delivering drinks and taking orders giving time to chat amongst family but the slow start turned out to be well worth it.

Great service great food. One of the best and most perfect to my liking steaks anywhere. All the other meals were top quality. Cheers for making a great evening to finish off my Nephews 18th birthday.

Mixture of the Beefeater and the Harvester. Food OK. When I’ve had the chicken it’s either been lovely or really dry. Staff have been very attentive and helpful. Could be cleaner in there, I’ve seen food and cutlery on the floor unnoticed.

Service was atrocious. The waitress seemed to spend a lot of time talking to friends at one table or to other staff. When we did get her attention she brought out my scampi without tartare sauce (as advertised) so had to try to get her attention again. Then she got my dessert wrong!!!! Feel really disappointed as this was on valentine's and definitely spoilt the evening. The two stars are for the food which was superb.

Having Heard mix reviews about this place I thought we would give it ago! After waiting to be seated or acknowledged for ten minutes we ordered our drinks which took ages, then our food which took ages! The waitress was very apologetic for the delay saying there was a crisis in the kitchen, when finally getting our rotisserie chicken which is advertised as one of their specialities the food was so disappointing!!! We ordered it with creamy garlic mushroom sauce which looked like old dishwater!! And quite frankly tasted awful!! The sides looked and tasted thrown together and rushed! I will never eat there again! The cleanliness of this place was not great either

Unfortunately my partner’s Sunday roast beef was inedible so tough it couldn’t be cut let

alone eaten! must have been under the hot plate for hours! Meal price was deducted but still wasn’t impressed. No blinds on windows so sun in your eyes and beating down on us curtains that didn’t fit pulled across then made the area dark. Windows dirty, chairs dirty menus dirty. Time for a little TLC and tidy up I think.

The food was ok! but the staff!!!, one in particular I don't know her name, she has blonde hair quite a large lady very rude.rude to customers. Doesn't really care what customers think, has no respect for customers and for that reason I would never ever ever eating this place again and I would certainly never recommend this place to anyone. Not happy at all about my experience within this restaurant!!! this restaurant needs a critic, but then if it did have a critic it would never get any customers unless they got rid of this young lady who seems to think it's ok to be rude, the food needs a lot to be desired as well the peppercorn sauce taste like dishwater the steak i asked for medium to well done you i got burnt on the outside and raw in the middle... the bad food maybe I could have dealt with..but the rudeness of that waitress did it in the end!! I would never ever eat there again because of her rudeness the food you can get over but you can never forget such rudeness from a person... When on a holiday you want to go out and eat and relax you don't need to face people like that!! you pay good money to eat in a good place have nice food, but you don't need some horrible smart arse cow laughing at you because you're foods not to your liking.... so we as the customer are wrong???

Had a meal for 5 here 24th May to notice my fathers chicken was raw and undercooked we took it back and the gentleman and chef apologised and said it was raw and gave us a free pudding 2 days later my father became ill with what we thought was food poisoning and was advised by 111 it was most likely that and to stay home and rest nearly 4 weeks ago I reported this to the company and today I get an email saying we are basically lying and that my father more than likely and a virus...will not be going here again!!!
