The food was Great, we there last night in a party of 32 and nothing was to much trouble. Lisa was our waitress and she was amazing so thanks

Staff were lovely, especially Ann Coleman who was our waitress, lovely clean place, fillet steak to die for 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Our family had a lovely Father’s Day meal, could not fault the food and the staff were all amazing on such a busy day, our waitress was Ann and she could not do enough for us.

My self and family had breakfast here the morning after a wedding , I cudnt fault it one bit , service was great , food was amazing , could of had seconds , I definitely recommend this place to anyone

My fiancé and I pop in here quite a lot and it is the friendliest place the staff here can not do enough for you!! We came in for dinner on Sunday evening with some friends and was served by Claire, who always has the biggest smile on her face, she was very attentive always making sure we always had drinks and the food was okay which I must say is spot on when we come here so shout out to all the chefs! Claire is an outstanding asset to your team and you should be proud of her as she cannot be faulted whenever we come in she can never do enough for us so thank you Claire for an enjoyable evening we look forward to our next one!! ��

Had a ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly and the service was wonderful as it always is. The experience was slightly marred by a very very rude woman who complained about the most minor of things from the moment she sat down and spoke to the waiting staff horrendously (at one point complaining that she watched her food go under the heat lamp at 5.05 and it didn't get bought to the table until 5.11 - God forbid she wait 6 whole minutes for her food! Ridiculous woman. The waiting staff are fantastic efficient and friendly and I've got absolutely no complaints about the food (I heard her state she was going to lodge a complaint about her "outrageous" 6 minute wait, so I'm getting in there first �

Had a lovely meal made even more special because we were looked after by the lovely Anne she is an absolute gem, nothing was too much trouble and I have never experienced better service in any restaurant than what she provided today! Thank you Ann for looking after us all xxxx

Went there yesterday for Christmas lunch with work and we were disappointed in the length of time we had to wait for our food. We got there and got told they had no turkey!!! Christmas lunch - no turkey. Then from having our mains we waited 40 minutes for desserts. The problem being that there wasn't enough staff on duty. No fault of the staff that were there. The fault of management not putting enough staff on for this time of year

We usually have nice meal there but last night for my daughters 40th the manager wasnt at all nice there was alot if us i ordered our meals 2nd and recievd them when everyone had ate theres not at exceptible at all. My daughter complained and asked for a refund and he walked away from HER not interested got money back anyway will not go near place again if that manager on even thou he has said can not book room any more no loss there packet by the way staff were brill no probs with just him bad attertude

We ordered food about 5.15 ish and the food came about 25 mins later I had ordered the steak and when it came it was still pink inside at the time I was being picked up the young lady Clare asked if I wanted it redone she said it would take about 10 minuets if I said yes that would be close to 6pm not enough time to eat my food in 15 mins so I said no and to take it off of the bill I did have some other little things but not worth the money so in all disappointing for me although the wife liked her food the only plus side is the breakfast was very nice 👍🏻

Just sat in there for over half hour after waiter asked us to wait in bar while area was made ready. We had no acknowledgement from waiter on door at all. Absolutely appauled at service been coming here for years. People coming in and getting seats before us even though we had booked on line. Dreadful

It's just a rip off now! The food is well over priced and quality is nowhere near as good as it used to be! The 40% off offer is an absolute joke......you just get 40% less on your plate! The staff are good but run off their feet.

Been going to The Packet Steamer for lots of years. Since it opened in fact. Went there yesterday for Christmas lunch with work and we were disappointed in the length of time we had to wait for our food. We got there and got told they had no turkey!!! Christmas lunch - no turkey. Then from having our mains we waited 40 minutes for desserts. The problem being that there wasn't enough staff on duty. No fault of the staff that were there. The fault of management not putting enough staff on for this time of year

We usually have nice meal there but last night for my daughters 40th the manager wasnt at all nice there was alot if us i ordered our meals 2nd and recievd them when everyone had ate theres not at exceptible at all. My daughter complained and asked for a refund and he walked away from HER not interested got money back anyway will not go near place again if that manager on even thou he has said can not book room any more no loss there packet by the way staff were brill no probs with just him bad attertude

We ordered food about 5.15 ish and the food came about 25 mins later I had ordered the steak and when it came it was still pink inside at the time I was being picked up the young lady Clare asked if I wanted it redone she said it would take about 10 minuets if I said yes that would be close to 6pm not enough time to eat my food in 15 mins so I said no and to take it off of the bill I did have some other little things but not worth the money so in all disappointing for me although the wife liked her food the only plus side is the breakfast was very nice 👍🏻

Just sat in there for over half hour after waiter asked us to wait in bar while area was made ready. We had no acknowledgement from waiter on door at all. Absolutely appauled at service been coming here for years. People coming in and getting seats before us even though we had booked on line. Dreadful

It's just a rip off now! The food is well over priced and quality is nowhere near as good as it used to be! The 40% off offer is an absolute joke......you just get 40% less on your plate! The staff are good but run off their feet.

Staff were friendly, server (Anne) was great but the food was a bit of a

letdown. The meat was undercooked and the roast potatoes were burnt. Probably should of complained but never, just decided to cross it off our "Places to eat" list. Recommend the Stag and Rainbow on Queens Drive.
