We had a delicious Sunday lunch)roast beef) there yesterday which was very reasonably priced . The staff were pleasant , polite and helpful . We only had a short wait but had pre booked . One or two people arrived after us and were told politely there was a wait for food so they left but it was peak time on Sunday . I suspect they would have found the same anywhere . There were many things on the menu which looked delicious so we intend to return .

Visited the pub last night and once again the food was excellent I had the monkfish scampi and my boyfriend had the main meal of mussels when the chef came over to see if our meal was ok and I asked if the mussels could be cooked with a tomato sauce instead of the white wine and garlic and cream sauce and he said that wouldn’t be a problem and if there was anything else on the specials board that could be changed for me all I have to do is ask so I’m sure we will visit very soon to enjoy more delicious food 😋

User

This place serves wonderful food. Great staff delivering wonderful service. I noticed they have over 20 gins I tried a couple. All served with expert knowledge! Highly recommend this place! Views are amazing too! Couldn’t ask for more!

The Passage House Inn Topsham is one of the best pubs/restaurants in Exeter, fantastic location especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside over looking the Exe Estuary, top class food and drink to be had. Top marks to the management and team who certainly do look after there customers A must visit !!!!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere for lunch. Menu was great lunch menu as well as full menu. All 4 of us had different meals and all were excellent, very friendly staff, very helpful and knowledge on the wines. A lovely afternoon was had.

User

Social in and outdoor location, homemade quality fresh food, great choice for beer and wine, great atmosphere and the most stunning viewd, quality venue. Nice staff.

User

Often walked past this place and thought how nice it looked, so today we went in and I am very glad we did, lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. Also was served by a lady who was only too happy to help with my dietary requirements nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back

User

Often had a drink at the Passage House but the first time for a meal, some people might consider it a tad pricy but this is certainly an example of 'you get what you pay for'.

A great choice on the menu, but I went for the catch of the day, freshest haddock I've tasted since Sunderland Market, chips were excellent, I wasn't left wanting but it wasn't too much neither, and to top it off, THAT view 😍

User

Me and my now husband have visited this pub many times and fell in love with the view. I knew at once it was where I wanted our small and select wedding to be. Carly and her team could not have been more accommodating in the planning and on the day. I can not fault anything. What they delivered went above and beyond our expectations and thanks to them our wedding day was an absolutely perfect day.

User

I cannot post enough about how beautiful the Passage House Inn is. Staff, service, views, variety of great fresh foods and drinks. There is something for everyone. Thank you for all who make the PHI GREAT

User

I ate here yesterday and as a recently diagnosed Coeliac was concerned but I didn't need to be. The staff couldn't do enough to help me with choices and were without exception very knowledgeable about the Coeliac condition and the food was very tasty and beautifully cooked. What an absolute gem this place is and your staff are wonderful!

User

Had Easter Sunday Lunch at the Passage and it was so good. Nothing was too much trouble. We had extra gravy and sauces. Carly, Neil and the waiting staff did an amazing job looking after us especially my Dad who was celebrating his bday and treated like a king. Food was delicious and desserts were lush. Can’t wait to go back to try some other goodies from the new menu. Thanks guys xx

User

Get place! The owners are fab! The views, food and drink are even better. The ales are well keep and the new menu is current and up to date. Well worth a visit

User

Fantastic food but also outstanding service on a very busy Sunday

User

Excellent food & service - the staff were amazing,

User

Cousin Ken and I had another great Sunday lunch here yesterday! A varied range of starters - I enjoyed the calamari - main courses - Ken liked the linguine, while, being Sunday, I went for the outstanding roast beef, which was a really generous helping, all the vegetables were cooked, and the gravy rich and tasty! We both enjoyed the warm apple pie with ice cream, but could eat no more! The service was brisk, though never rushed, and we both very much enjoyed our server, Amy's cheerful and friendly manner and banter! Three courses + a drink worked out at around £25+ a head, which, I think, represents good value, taking everything into consideration. God willing, we'll continue to enjoy more Sunday lunches here from time to time!

User

Another great night at our local pub, made to feel very welcome as always. Our visitors from Kent were very impressed with the food & the service, especially the personally added touch from our landlady. I won't tell everyone Carly or they'll all want one! We are very lucky to have The Passage as our local
