Bespoked - The UK Handmade Bicycle Show 2018 this Weekend!!

User

We really enjoyed the gin festival thought the staff were really helpful!! The choices of drinks were amazing fantastic selection to try. We loved the historical building what a great venue !!

User

Loved the gin and vodka festival, what you got for a tenner was great value for money. Loved the men singing as he walked around. It's not your fault the toilets were rubbish. Do agree more tables were needed. But over all the event was great fun. Will definitely attend another one hopefully in Exeter

User

Had a brilliant evening at the Gin Festival!!

So many different gins to try, amazing pasta and great music! Venue decorated beautifully.

Would definitely go again!!

User

Great night! Loved the venue it has amazing historic features and perfect location right by temple meads train station. Also loved the selection of gins they had a wide choice so great for any gin lovers!

User

A great venue to host a variety of different events as it is so very versatile and easy to get to.

User

A great time was had at the Gin Festival last night!

- for that my only complaint would be that the Over large Deck Chair was next to those speaking about their gin processing-at one time struggling to be overheard above the screeching!

Have been twice previously for Christmas Parties and cannot fault the venue. Both times the Venue was excellently decorated, music, atmosphere and food were great x

User

had a great time at the Gin and Vodka fest ....good to see lots of Tables and chairs much better than at the beer festival . Nice entertainment too ... would have liked to have purchased a bottle of Gin though

User

We went to the afternoon of the Gin festival which was really good but we had to queue for over 40 minutes for chips so definitely needs more food vendors. I was really glad I drink Vodka and not Gin as the vodka queues were quarter of the size of the Gin queues. I thought it was good value though and I would go to the next one. I would just eat first next ime. X

We had a great time at the Sausage and cider festival 5th August 2017

But... £8.00 entry didn't get any free samples just one sausage for £5.00. Cider £10 for 5 half pints.

Band played for a bit but not much and atmosphere was better when music on but most of the time they were just buggering about.

Anyway we didn't really notice as after 10 halves of various ciders including Badgers' Arse and Game Cock we didn't really care

Place could do with a lick of paint, a squirt of air freshener and a splash of toilet duck.

User

We attended the the 12:00 session. Really great, enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go again. Thought it was great value, great opportunity to try lots of new gins, everyone was really friendly, good choice and the guide was really helpful. However have to agree, I was looking forward to buying some of the gin we tried and very disappointed that I was not able to. Again more seating was needed and monitoring of the toilets would be good.

I've never been to the passenger shed before so I was expecting it to be a bit more "glam", thought it might look better on an evening with a bit of mood lighting, but appears it was lucky we didn't attend yesterday night!!

But overall a very enjoyable event.

User

Fantastic historic building. You can imagine passengers gathering to catch a steam train. Building full of history.

User

Went to Gin festival yesterday. Was a bit cold to be honest - venue needs heating

User

Went last night to the Gin Festival, overall very enjoyable but was spoilt by the venue - absolutely freezing with everyone keeping their coats on, am sure people would have stayed longer if it was not soooo cold. You could hear people complaining about the temperature. Such a shame

User

We went on the Saturday 12-4pm slot,For what you got for the entry ticket was good, disappointed to hear a few vendors had left due to security and the change in licensing laws... I understand that they not informed of this, so unable to buy bottles of gin on the day to take away, which is what I thought the festival was all about. The food was limited to burgers and ran out around 3pm, so no idea what the evening ticket holders did. The ladies bathroom really needs to be policed and cleaned regularly and in working order....!

Although the "entertainment (music by a solo singer)🕺 " was "ok" it could of been sooo much better. More tables and chairs were needed, we sat on the floor to eat, along with many others, That does need to be revised.

The bar staff were good in giving advise on what Tonics would go with the Gins. The venue was good. Lovely historical building lots of space, however would look better at night. ??! During the day looked very open and had a community centre look.(😋) However after saying all this...we will be booking for May. It's was fun. Everyone was very friendly. We really hope that all the reviews are taken in to consideration. Cheers everyone 🍸

Passenger Shed needs a revamp - toilets were poor & all looking a bit shabby. Gin & vodka event was nowhere as good as one attended last year in Cardiff. Not many suppliers due to licensing issue so couldn't buy bottles to take home - whole point of going ! Long queues for drink. Food ran out, queues massive. Not quite sure what the entrance fee paid for as not enough tables & chairs. Live music was actually one ok singer playing to a backing track ..... wouldn't return

User

Obviously do not know the ins and outs as to why, but had to leave early as owners insisted on security at the Gin festival....such a shame. Toilets could also do with an upgrade

User

Lovely gin but so so cold! Not enough toilets, not enough chairs, couldn’t hear the people speaking and the music was dreadful and couldn’t understand why it was there at all. Oh and two food stalls nowhere near enough....

User

It was shaping up to be a good night until we were asked to leave at 9:30! Do we get a partial refund on our ticket entry? Venue could have been improved with a cloakroom and more bar staff to shorten the queues but thought the singer added a nice atmosphere to the evening.

User

Gin was great but poorly organised... children and trainer sporting chavs allowed entry despite dress code. Not enough seating or tables. Unable to purchase takeaway bottles. Massive queues for drink and food. Feel sorry for the exhibitors.
