We had a lovely meal on sat eve 28th steaks cooked to perfection please let chefs know I don't think they get enough credits also our waiter tom was very professional polite and attentive and made sure we were both ok at all times will definitely be back

We eat here quite a lot and usually the food is excellent. Last night it took a long time to arrive and mine looked nothing like the picture. The poached egg was hard and the potato thing under the steak was burnt but the fillet steak was perfectly cooked and very tender, also there were only 3 sprigs if broccoli. My husbands meal was perfect.

Visited last night with my daughter, had shorts and hoodie on so not the average diner, we were seated by a very friendly lad, who we didnt see again, as we were served by 2 girls throughout the night, both polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble! The food cooked was perfect - and even beat me , I couldnt finish - even my dessert belly couldnt cope! - We will be back, there was so much choice on the menu that there is definitely a few more visits worth yet. After much thought and deliberation I am naming this the best pub restaurant in Weston-super-Mare . A++++++

Took my father in law out Sat evening for his birthday and you couldn't fault the food or service. We had lovely food and excellent service from Tom which made it an extra special night for my father in law.

It was nice to be able to go out for a meal and enjoy it for a change and to get a really friendly,happy waiter who looked like they enjoyed serving you really made a change so we will definitely be going back. Thanks very much

We used a 40% off voucher so it was such good value. Some of us had puddings and were really pleased with how nice they were. I wish they’d kept the Tomahawk steak though it was sooo delicious!

Very tasty main course with a good sized portion (mixed grill). Slightly disappointed with the dessert as there was too much Apple and not enough crumble. Service was very good and with a smile.

Me and my partner was so hungry and when food finally came we was just happy to eat but we had the chicken sandwich in a ciabatta roll and chips ... too much lettuce not enough chicken. When asked for ketchup and mayo it came in little pot im a ketchul fan and my partner a mayo fan! I felt embarrased to ask for more so shpuld have bottles on table.

We ordered a mixed grill and rump steak meal and 2 kids meals spag bol & a chicken burger chips n beans. 4 drinks. And 4 puddings.

We didn't have to wait too long, waitress was lovely & helpful. Offered alternative sides on kids plate due to dietary requirements which was great. My hubby was feeding my 4mth old whilst we ate and waitress came and asked if he would like his meal to be kept warm which was nice. We didn't have to wait too long, waitress was lovely & helpful. Offered alternative sides on kids plate due to dietary requirements which was great. My hubby was feeding my 4mth old whilst we ate and waitress came and asked if he would like his meal to be kept warm which was nice. The only thing I can say is I was a little disappointed with the size and content of my meal the steak/chips meal as it was quite exspensive for what I ate. Puddings also a little steep. All in all not a bad experience so would consider eating here again :)

We went on Monday, and although it wasn't overly busy, the wait for food was horrendous! We waited about 30 minutes for starters and mine was bone dry garlic prawns which had to be redone, so another 10-15 minute wait in which time my partner had finished his. The mains came out quite quick after that and we're good, but there seemed to be a lot of customers complaining about food and times. The waitress Laura was brilliant- really attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. She is an asset to the company and really deserves some recognition especially as she seemed to be covering such a large area and rushed off her feet the entire time we were there.

Had steak rare but it was still mooing when it got to me. Told the server and got "well you wanted it rare. I can take it back and put it on the grill but it wont be rare" the thing was luke warm. Couldnt get the drinks right and when I asked for something they hadnt got any. I wasnt the only one fed up. Rude staff, lousy server and why wasnt we told they were out of things before we tried to order it.

Food was ok except my mums which we had to send back as the burger was burnt and dry. Got offered another one but it had already taken 45 mins to arrive the first time. Manager did say he would refund it so the rest of us carried on eating, at the end still no sign of refund, had to go and remind him did eventually get a refund, I did notice while in there that two other people also complained about their food. Did pay a visit to the toilets whilst in there as one does when drinking Pepsi, they were disgusting smelly,dirty and generally unclean. Not somewhere that I would return to

We ate here on a Friday night, the service was fine but the food was another story! Ordered a filet steak which was so chewy I now have jaw ache....my partner ordered the 'tomahawk' steak.....it was HUGE with an overpowering rub that took over the taste of the entire meal. The texture was unlike any meat he had ever tasted before and it was very tough and fatty. Even with a 40% off voucher this particular steak was just shy of £24, (£39.99 normally!) definitely not worth the money!

The staff were very pleasant and helpful though but we won't be returning.

Had to wait for nearly an hour to eat, when the food did arrive the children's food was under the heat lamps for so long it was dry and not very warm. This was also followed by a bar member slamming a couple of drinks down on the table.

Expressed our disappointment with the manager and fair play to the young bar tender he did come back to apologise. Would I go back...No
