Just a quick update regarding the Covid-19 situation and your dogs. We were hoping to re-open soon but sadly this is not now going to happen, as it is not yet safe to do so. Groomers have been given permission to open but with such stringent guidelines that in our opinion this would be neither safe nor ethical. Customers would not be allowed to drive to us as this is considered a ‘non-essential journey’ - yes we could collect and deliver your dog but to keep you and oursel...ves safe we have to keep a 2 metre distance making it much higher risk of your dog escaping, we would have to fully disinfect our vehicle between dogs and only transport/groom one dog at a time. The powerful dryers which we use would blast the virus around the room and onto other surfaces should any dog we groom be carrying the Covid-19 virus on its coat, putting us and you, our clients and my family, some who are in serious high risk, in danger of spreading the disease. We would also have to wear full PPE and dispose of this between each dog, which we do not feel is ethical at this time when PPE is so desperately needed by the NHS. Therefore, morally, most good groomers with a conscience have decided to stay closed at the current time. We are aware that some dogs will start to suffer in the heat, but an extra few weeks of hair should not be a welfare problem, as long as you brush your dog’s coat thoroughly and correctly on a regular basis - this will mean that air can circulate right to your dog’s skin. It is only if you allow your dog’s coat to become matted that it will become a welfare issue. All we ask of you, our clients, is to please maintain your dog’s coat while we are closed, and please wait for us to re-open. If you decide to look for a groomer who has decided to be irresponsible and re-open at this time, please reconsider this decision - you will be putting yourself and your family at risk and also helping to spread this horrific disease and possibly prolong the lockdown. Anyone wanting help or advice at this time please message us on here or give me a ring. Helpful advice regarding maintaining your dog’s coat at this difficult time Is on this page further down! Hope everyone is keeping safe! I’ll be there for each and everyone of you when this calms down! I PROMISE YOU I will work round the clock and my days off to catch up!! All I ask is to look after yourselves! Hope to see you all very soon ❤️

Another brushing video
This is done by a lovely fellow groomer friend of mine!! Sadly I can’t do one myself as explained before but this is a great vid showing all you need to know on how you brush your curly coated breeds :)

These are the tools I’d be recommending please take a look at the curly coated video posted below that will help show how to brush your Cockerpoo or doodle coats 😀
In order.... 🐾Pin brush perfect for your drop coats so your spaniels, shih tzu e.ct This can also be used for double coats
... 🐾Slicker brushes — anything similar to the ones in the pic! Used for your curly coated breeds. Similar to the one on the vid below but again slightly different
🐾Andis-de shedding tool - only for double coated breeds for collies, husky’s and so on!
🐾Most important a comb!! I stupidly forgot to take a pic haha! But we all know what a comb is!! Incase you don’t it’s show in the vid below 🤣 If you can get your comb through then we can at the end of all this madness!! Do not over brush or de-shed in the same area for a long time spread this out evenly over the coat!!
🐾If anyone wants any guidance don’t hesitate just ring!! It be easier to talk it through!! I don’t mind at all!! In fact I welcome it!
Again stay safe and take care! Please be with me on the other side ❤️

Due to the endless people messaging this is why I can’t open I assumed most people would of been aware of these new rules 😞 It’s killing me not being open and want nothing more than to be with your pooches!! Today we did an 8 hour intense deep clean from top to bottom so that when we can return there’s little risk if any when you and your dogs enter the salon!!

Hi everyone unfortunately the time has come where We’ve been told we have to close! I Will not be allowed to be open to the public until further notice so this sadly means all of tomorrow’s appointments are cancelled! Though this is really tough to hear I do 100 % agree with the decision to keep us all safe!! When we know when we can open again I will be in contact with everyone! But unfortunately until we know there’s sadly little point trying to re-book!
... It’s important now more than ever to brush and be on top of your dogs coat to avoid shaving them off short 😞 ! If you need any advice or are struggling then give me a message or ring and I’ll try suggest what I can until we can all go back to normal! I wish all of you good health and to stay safe throughout this terrible time ❤️ To any of you key workers that are on here or you’re family members but most importantly NHS workers you really are hero’s 😘

Polite notice, please could you all do this, I can’t force you but would you mind respecting it, a few did yesterday but more so didn’t, I have so many vulnerable people around me or I help look after my mum and dad included in that with COPD I really can’t risk their lives to keep my business open! So if we could all help work together I’d be forever grateful! To everyone continuing to support my business and going that extra Mile in this really difficult unpredictable time I can’t thank you enough! Take real care everyone ❤️

Karas first experience in the shop where she’s allowed to be on the floor (almost allowed) haha she’s had great fun today!! I hope you will all get to love her like I do 😀 As she still needs another week to be fully immune to things could you please let me know if your dogs not Vaccinated so I can pop her in the crate!! Otherwise she’s pretty much safe 😀 Only a week to go before she can do what she wants without me worrying 😅
