Looking for something to do with the kids during the holidays? Looking for something a bit different to do with the family dog?
Why not give agility a go? I have a few slots available due to people's holidays/other school holiday commitments, so if you're interested in giving agility a shot, now is the perfect time!
All breeds welcome. Dogs must be 12 months +
... The whole family is welcome, so feel free to bring the kids along to get involved.
Offered on a 1-1 basis, either as half-hour lessons, or a full hour. Lessons are also available in the secure field if you want additional security (extra charge applies).
All methods are fun and reward based. Open to those wanting to do it for a bit of fun, those wanting to compete and everyone in between.

I’m receiving a lot of phone calls today.
I’m afraid, as per previous posts, I am away on a holiday, so will not be replying to anything until Monday.
Bookings are still being taken through the system.

I am away from yesterday evening through until the weekend so will not be around to oversee bookings. The field is still open and available to hire however my phone will be off and I will not be responding to messages.
The padlock has been behaving itself this week, however if any further issues, either park by the gate and walk or there is access by the farm shop, directions below:
Enter top barn site. Take the first right down a gravel track next to the farm shop. Follow t...he road until you reach the FIRST right turn. Follow that to the end and the fields will be in front of you.
Remember, directions and codes are in the confirmation emails every time, so please make note.

In addition to my usual 1-1 lessons, and the group lessons I run, I am going to start offering private 1-1 sessions in the SECURE FIELD.
These will be perfect for reactive dogs, or dogs with less reliable recalls. Dogs are still required to have a good level of basic obedience, however there is the added security of 6ft fencing the entire way around, should they decide to try and do a runner ;)

We now have some shade up the field. I’m sorry it’s not anything more substantial but in the short term it’ll help :)
Please ensure you wind the umbrella in after use. It is a bit stiff at times but definitely works! And be careful when it springs up :)

What larks!

First time yesterday there with a young Saluki lurcher we are fostering; terms of which dictate that she is not to be let off-lead in a public area. She is so desperate to run with our other two dogs when out, so this was a much needed event in which she could show her paces and get rid of all that pent-up frustrated "need for speed".

Great fun for the dogs and humans as well! Interesting to see a pattern evolve, there were groups of speeders, wrestlers, and mud plungers (often the biggest and hairiest dogs). It was exceptionally muddy due to the saturated ground, so do go prepared for a slathering!

We are so glad we found this place! Our gang have a great time at both the secure exercise field and also the agility field �. Would definitely recommend. Abbey is very accommodating and both fields are extremely well maintained and fit for purpose!

Visited for the first time this morning at 7am. It is absolutely perfect to allow my crazy spaniel to run free. Will be a regular jaunt now as he had so much fun and half the field was still in shade at that time so lovely and cool in these hot temperatures. Thank you for this facility, I wish I had known about it sooner.

Took the family Hound Finn today, he had a great time and allowed me to work on his recall � Only slight downside ....a couple of previous users didn’t clear up after their hounds!!

Took my new dog Rosa. She had an amazing time running around making new friends. Cheap and cheerful and really nice people. Can't wait to take her back !!

Took Kyla there for the first time today.. she loved it! Peace of mind knowing she can’t do a runner after any pheasants or rabbits!! Highly recommend �

My dog loved being off the lead for the first time, he had such fun running around. The field is perfect, just what i have been looking for. Feel so lucky i found Abbey, would recommend to anyone who is after somewhere safe to let their dogs run free. Will definitely be returning :)

Lovely secure spot for our girl to run, away from other dogs and unable to escape! She had a great time, we'll definitely be going again.

I've never seen my dog so relaxed whilst outside. He had so much fun. He's normally very reactive and doesn't settle down enough to enjoy time out of he house. This was a lovely experience for him. It rained and he's completely pooped now. We left his favourite orange ball behind by accident though :(

I have hired the secure paddock for my two dogs, who loved it - especially the puddles, and I also hire both paddocks for my Reactive Rover classes.

There is plenty of parking, the fields are a decent size, well kept and the online system makes booking easy.

There is a public footpath running past, however, this has not proven to be a problem.

The farm shop just a few minutes away is also a bonus for grabbing a hot drink on the cooler days. :)

I have a nervous dog who has been attacked twice and an old girl who is bit blind and deaf. This is fantastic as she can run and play without the fear of other dogs - they love it and I live it as they are safe to play, run, sniff

Harley, my 7 month old Springer Spaniel loved it, he made lots of new doggy friends and to know he’s safe and happy is priceless. Thank you to Abbey, what a great idea and can’t wait to go next week ��

Had a lovely hour at the field purely because 1 it was secure so Blu couldn’t escape & 2 knowing he was meeting friendly dogs. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks again �

First visit today! Our little pug Alfie loved every minute. Lovely to see him running around in secure environment.

First time visiting this afternoon and we had a great time! Such a great idea, we will be visiting again �

First time using secure field with my two border terriers this morning one has fear aggression so was lovely to let him loose without fear of any other dogs invading his space will use again �

Brilliant! Our first time here today and my 8 month old lab had a brilliant time and so did I! He’s finally worn out! Have booked again already! A safe, secure place for me and my boisterous puppy to run around with like minded owners and dogs.

A lovely secure space. It was so nice to know my dog could just run around and I didn’t have to keep a look out! Can’t wait to go again perhaps book the agility! Thank you �

Very useful safe area for puppy. Such a shame that even here people see fit to leave full poo bags in the grass.
