Thank you Pax Inn and staff, came for lunch today to get out of the office and it was lovely to sit inside and chill. And the chicken chorizo and cheddar panini was delicious and was piping hot. Will be back again soon

Found this place on Google whilst heading back to the Midlands from Northumberland. So glad we did! We were all very impressed with our lunch, and my steak and ale pie was one of the best I've ever had! Beautiful succulent chunks of meat and pastry made to perfection. Service was brilliant too. Wish I lived nearer so I could visit more often. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious, hot and plenty of it, especially even though it was Mother's Day and they were very busy.

First visit to this great little pub tonight. Enjoyed the superb Steak and Ale Pie and the beer was on top form. Would definitely recommend.

Can't rave enough about this place!! I visited here last week with my partner and a friend. Wow!! The food was amazing! I had the veggie burger, my friend had the veggie lasagne and my partner had the rib eye steak. Massive compliments to the chef who was very acommodating and made my burger vegan, it was full of flavour andwas a nice change from your bog standard falafel burger. My friend loved her lasagne and my partner said his steak was cooked to perfection! 10 out of 10 all round. We will definitely be returning in the near future and have recomended to all of our friends!

A brilliant day at the Pax for grand daughters christening , great buffet and had lots of good feedback from everyone there about the food especially the home made sausage rolls. Well done everyone at The Pax.

the meal was excellent.service great.the young lady who served us was very good.my grandson said his burger was really good.praise from him indeed.my husband had the steak pie with new pots and he said it was really tasty just like homemade.thankyou for alovely meal.

Steak Night Special - very disappointing. Poor service, poor food (very chewy steak) small portions and we didn't get served our drink

that was advertised as part of the meal deal.

Disappointing choice of weekly menu. Won't be going again. Food only ok.
