We had a family gathering on Saturday afternoon as a family celebration. I had eaten here before and was impressed so we decided to bring the family here.

The food was excellent and the selection was also good. My 12 yearly grandson eat the burger and he said it was the best burger he had ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We shall certainly visit this restaurant again.

Thoroughly recommend. Had a fantastic meal at the Pear at Parley. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The decor inside is amazing. The sort of place you can either go for a lovely lunch or evening meal or simply to sit on the comfy settee in the bar area with a coffee. Really looking forward to going back and sitting in the wonderful gardens.

This is our 'Go To' place to eat whether lunch or dinner. They have the offer spot on in terms of price and selection. Quality and service always amazing - and with an attitude that screams "We WANT you to be here!" (strangely rare in the hospitality industry - despite claims).. Not a bad word to say about it. Get booked in asap.

Paul and I just had a most excellent lunch at The Pear. Friendly welcome, great food, splendid surroundings, they have done an excellent job. Manager/Boss Man charming. Shall definitely go again!!! Nicole ...... a pleasure meeting Mathew Martinez and enjoying Mark Miller`s most splendid cuisine!!! and I hope one day dogs can join us outside!!! Our well behaved ones anyway!!! There was a small computer hitch, which meant waiting a little longer for our lovely food however Mathew kindly offered a glass of Rose, which we gratefully accepted.

My family and I came yesterday for the first time we had Sunday lunch in the garden the food was fantastic. My younger to sons ages 4 and 6 loved the play area and open space. Everywhere was spotless and really relaxed. It was the most chilled out time I have in ages. But the best bit for me was the staff nothing was a problem there were so helpful and friendly. My eldest son is 15 and had a gluten free diet so eating out is alway a bit of a worry but not hear. I had a grate chat with the manger he could of been anymore helpful and the chef even came out to talk me though what they were cooking as he wonted a burger but had non gf so he maid one especially for him. Thank you so much to you all ������

Lovely meal last night at The Pear. Fabulous starters and both couples had the steak sharing boards. Pretty darn good! Loving the look of the bar menu, for when we come with the children to the fabulous play area and garden. Drinks were reasonably priced. Fingers crossed it should keep the standard high. No reason for it not to..

Lovely lunch in beautiful setting! Great choice on the lunch menu and sandwich menu. The sea bass I had was cooked to perfection. The dessert menu posed a problem as there was so much I could have chosen but opted for the lemon posset which was delicious. Looking forward to going back one evening to sample the dinner menu. Well done Matt and Mark for all your hard work! See you again very soon!

Lovely lunch here today! Me and my friend arrived with her double buggy containing new born and toddler. Gentleman who saw us in said kitchen had just closed but as we had made so much effort to get in he checked with chef who was happy as a one off to make us baguettes. The food was lovely and the service was amazing. Def be coming back again xx

Just have a lovely lunch with friends at The Pear, absolutely fantastic, recommend to anyone, very good attentive staff that are well trained and very friendly, fabulous food and terrific location. We will be back.

Just had lunch here as it's under new management. It looks lovely inside now, food was great, staff lovely and the grounds look good again. They've completely turned the place around. Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back again. Well done guys, your doing a great job �

It is really clear how hard the owners of The Pear have worked to create a relaxed and very friendly restaurant with superb food. The menu is great and it was hard to decide- we ended up sharing the Picky Bits as a starter. I then had Beef Wellington and Guy and Tom shared the steak board. We then squeezed in space for puddings which were all really good.

Staff were lovely and I can’t wait to sit outside in the lovely grounds.

I have been here for meals with friends and family on a few occasions so far! Each time the experience has been outstanding. Fantastic food, steak cooked to perfection. The staff both bar and waiting staff were brilliant and understanding well visiting with my elderly grandmother. And now we have been informed that they offer afternoon tea's including a selection of jams and desserts to accompany the scones. Cant wait to try it.

Excellent food and service loved the menu, not serving outside in the evening but the dining area in the conservatory is very cool and airy , a good experience

Came for lunch with my partner on Tuesday we haven’t been since it changed ownership and it’s so beautiful now � food was incredible and staff lovely I had fish and chips would recommend

Birthday meal last night with family. Good choices on the menu with the teenagers going for the Burgers (again). Mum and I love fish so we asked about the catch of the day and had sea bream and I chose half lobster. The other 2 in our party had the Ribeye and Fillet steak. All our meals were gorgeous. We did have a bit of a wait b4 we were approached by staff to order but the Manager came over and later apologised for the delay and gave us a round of drinks free of charge. We were extremely pleased with the beautiful food, gorgeous surroundings and lovely decor. The Rhubarb frangipane for dessert was sublime. All in all a great evening. We will definitely be back

Amazing food and the place is absolutely stunning. Very friendly waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. The only issue we had was having the listen to the Bar staff swearing & moaning. It was busy but no need to let the customer know how you were really feel. Apart from that, fantastic.

Wow the place is absolutely stunning the garden is lovely � we went for lunch for my daughters birthday but I must say we were very disappointed with the menu choice No sandwiches or lunchtime snacks the menu was more an evening place to where you would go for a full meal not a lunchtime snack very disappointed cause the gardens are lovely we left and went to the horns just up the road a lovely lunchtime menu and the place was packed the Pear need to take note it was empty yet the horns was full more sandwiches rolls bagels baguette needed

I came today for Sunday lunch with my girlfriends and had the 1/4 roast chicken. Unfortunately it was very undercooked which was a shame as the rest of the lunch was fantastic. The staff acted immediately and the manager came over and apologized and refunded more that what I had paid for it. I was also offered a complimentary Prosecco my my inconvenience. Everyone’s else’s food was fantastic and the staff and atmosphere was great. This will not put me off going back when returning to the UK.
