About The Pembroke

Great British Gastro Pub

The Pembroke Description

Welcome to The Pembroke, Public House and Lounge, situated in the centre of Earl’s Court, on Old Brompton Road, minutes from Earls Court and West Brompton stations.

The Pembroke opens it's doors at 12'oclock Monday to Saturday. Sundays we're open for roasts and Bloody Mary’s and our infamous ‘Hangover Club’. We offer a relaxed and elegant backdrop for coffee, lunch, romantic dinner or group drinks every day of the week.

Recently fully refurbished this historic Public House offers an intimate dining room and open kitchen, vibrant bar featuring premium craft beers and Prosecco on tap. Upstairs is now a beautiful lounge bar boasting chesterfield sofa's, slouchy arm chairs and an 8ft projector screen, which will be used for cinema events, large sporting fixtures and classic comedy during our hangover club. Alongside the lounge, we also have Earls Court's best kept secret, our roof garden. The perfect, (and in our opinion the only) place to enjoy the best of the great British sun.

Our creative and passionate kitchen team put together seasonal menus every 4 weeks, with a focus on balance, seasonality and of course great British ingredients, showcased simply in our monthly changing menu. The bar stocks craft beers and ciders from the UK and US, with Prosecco on tap offering something a little more special.

Alongside hosting in-house events such as stand-up comedy, cinema evenings, wine tastings and breakfast clubs, The Pembroke is the perfect option for private events and functions, from sit down meals, canapés or secret cinemas. Our team will be able to put together the perfect evening for you.

I'm fussy! We came in a group of 6 we all had amazing service and amaaaaaazing food and it was really good! I had the beef rib with mash and kale, one had fish and chips , 2 had burgers and two had a selection of different small plates! Everything absolutely gorgeous as was the price tag - we shared wine and other soft drinks and a beer and the bill was a mere £20 each! Now that is value for money! Will definitely come again! The waiter was really friendly and helpful despite us all being slightly inebriated we were very well looked after!

For me to write a five star review is a miracle in itself - as believe me - I have high standards!!

I called in at this place yesterday and found it to be a real lovely place. The place decorwise is very nice and the clientele extremely. The staff that i spoke to were very very nice indeed. They do food as well and they also have a fabulous upstairs seating area with both bar-like seats and chesterfields and it has a bar too. Very nice! Thank you!

User

Food was great, Manager & staff all very attentive. Extra special effort to have Wimbledon playing so we could enjoy tennis, great company whilst drinking & dining. Thank you!

User

Fantastic evening, our waiter - more than fantastic , great food! Thank you and see you soon

User

Everything was spot on. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere. And I can't speak highly enough of the service - absolutely excellent.

User

Deep fried pickles in batter is now my favourite bar snack. Onglet steak, sweet potato chips with spinach = top food at a fair price. Good pint to go with!

User

Nice pub with trad high ceilings and chandeliers! Ideal for a couple of swift ones before visiting cafe/restaurant/music venue The Troubadour next door and only 5 minutes brisk walk from the Warwick Road exit of Earls Court Station

User

Great pub, good beer, and good staff. Perfect for pre Chelsea games. just a couple of things...open the bar upstairs on match days to avoid the crush, and PLEASE don’t let people reserve tables. It’s a pub!

User

Excellent meal again this evening. ..just off the train after long journey. .place was very busy but they had no problem fitting me in...

User

Always good to come to the Pembroke. Lovely pub and good crowd. Shame the service is going downhill. Charming bar person tonight! Very grumpy service ending up with me offering her 5p to round the change. Quite loud at the bar so I think it was hard for her to hear but eventually she did but it was apparently too much trouble. 'I've done it now.' Was the response as she shut the till. Thanks!

User

Visited the place again today. Service is friendly & food is delicious but the portions are too small and far too expensive. So expect to spend a fortune in there!

User

ridiculous food portions compared to the price you pay
