On an awful afternoon weather wise the People’s Kitchen held its first Sunday afternoon film club. We hope to make this a regular event with the friends choosing a film. It is also a few hours reprieve from the cold and wet as the nights draw in. Drinks and snacks were also available

Tonight we had spicy meatballs and pasta , followed by blackberry sponge cake made with jam made by Linda a kind supporter of the people’s kitchen. It was lovely Thankyou

Thankyou to the organisers and supporters of the Trifest music festival held in Morpeth earlier in the summer. Great day and very much appreciated

Sky Dive fundraiser for the People’s Kitchen Martin Scott of Norton Rose Fulbright completed a challenge to raise money for us. After the first attempt had to be called of due to bad weather he completed it on Sunday in Cambridgeshire, raising nearly £5800. Well done and Thankyou so much.
