The Period Costume Shop is an online shop based in London providing period accessories, haberdashery, fabrics and clothing with 18th-19th century focus. Though there is no actual physical shop, The Period Costume Shop travels to events and fairs all over the UK and Europe!

I was very impressed by the stand on display at Bruntingthorpe, I was most surprised to find it was the first such event that Amy had traded at because it was so professionally done.
I recently ordered a pair of Silk Breeches. Miss Banner was most attentive to my requirements.The attention to detail was amazing. Every aspect of their design was researched and implemented. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Period Costume Shop.
The quality is fabulous whilst their prices are affordable. I attended a presentation given by Miss Banner on historical dress. She thoroughly knows her subject !
Amy sells a wonderful variety of costume accessories, all very accurate in period detail and affordable!
Absolutely superb quality merchandise, which is rivaled by the knowledge, charm, and excellent customer service provided by the owner. I cannot recommend The Period Costume Shop too highly, they were the absolute highlight of my trip to the Living History Faire.
