What a great meal . Steak Cooked to perfection, fast frendly service. Top marks for a out of town inn. Highly recomend.

This pub wasn't our first choice for Sunday lunch but a full car park meant we carried on driving.. we ended up at The Pheasant Inn...
I'm so glad we did. The rear car park had ample space. Once inside, we was met with a warm welcome and shown to a table, the service was polite & exceptionally efficient, (we didn't even have to move for drink refills) and the food, which was reasonably priced good sized portions, was the best we've had in a very long time. Will definitely visit again before we leave.

My wife & I have a static caravan nearby & eat out on every trip to the area, but we have to eat at The Pheasant every time! Quite simply, the best pub food we have ever tasted, added to this is the fact the staff are so incredibly welcoming & friendly.

Just in the area on holiday and googled dog friendly pubs. It was really busy but they found us two tables, one for me & hubby the other for teenage son & friend. When a table for 4 came up they asked if we wanted to move. (We were happy to stay put)
The locals made a big fuss of our dog and were really friendly.
The staff were very attentive, the service was quick and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Will definitely return if we visit the area again.

Amazing food. Went here with my sister in 2014, had the steak (although the fish looked amazing and seemed to be what everyone else was ordering) and it was beautifully cooked. Lovely atmosphere too. Sat outside in Eve after the meal
for a drink.
