Empty roads..empty streets and only a Pheasant to be seen outside my window!😁

Following tonight’s breaking news I am delighted to hear that all my staff will be looked after through this difficult time.
On that basis i will CLOSE my pub tonight (with much sadness) at normal closing time.
I understand i will be able to deliver a takeaway food service so please support us.

With government advice to avoid pubs, it's hard to ask people to come in (a moral dilema) so we have to change if we are to survive therefore we are diversifying!

Our full menu (until sold out) is available as a takeaway menu.
... We have our delicious steak pies, Cumberland Sausage, Venison Bourgignon, Mushroom Stroganoff, Vegetable Risotto, Vegetable Tagine, Beef Madras plus more Pheasant favourites available to buy as a takeaway!
You can Pay for any takeaways etc. 💳 by card in advance on ordering and we will happily bring to your car 🚘so no need to come into the pub if you are worried.
Please do not judge us,🤫 do not think that keeping our businesses open is about greed...it is not...our takings are down by at least 85% so there is no 'money being made' but for as long as we can offer something which is wanted to our responsible customers we will ( of course that is until we ARE told we can NO longer open)
This is not about profit, this is treading water to breakeven so my staff get some security of hours, and pay, we do not have a pot of gold 💰and 12 weeks possible closure would / could be the end. We hope at the end of this weird and scary time we will still have fantastic businesses with our amazing staff 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 in place to still serve our loyal customers.

Hi All Just a quick post on the Corona Virus situation.
Following the government's instructions and information we would advise all of our customers with a new persistent cough or fever to self isolate at home and seek medical help on the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus -covid-19/
... The safety of our customers & staff is our number one priority so we will be taking the necessary precautions and steps to help keep you safe.
-We will be doing frequent cleaning and sanitizing of all door handles, handrails, tables etc with antibacterial cleaner
-Antibacterial soap in all toilets
-Hand sanitizer available behind the bar or ask the door staff
-and most importantly please remember to wash your hands
We will continue to follow the instructions given to us by the government and follow best hygiene at all times
