Fanastis night and not robbed by drinks prices thankfully !

This just might be my favourite live music venue anywhere. Great old cinema building that's been really well restored and made into a proper venue. The atmosphere is always sensational, the venue looks cool and it sounds excellent, with a nice in-house PA and a superb house engineer.



You can move around the place (get to the front/go up to the balcony), even when it's full to capacity, they always seem to have enough bar staff on so you get served quickly, and you can get a good pint for ┬Ż3. A lot of venues could learn a lot from Picturedrome, Holmfirth. Love it!

This is a superb venue in beautiful holmfirth, the atmosphere is a electric will definitely be returning to see some more great gigs x

The best venue in the country, well run, great bar staff, security discreet and understanding but there when you want them, can't recommend this place enough, just wish I lived a bit nearer!

Our first time attending a gig at this great old venue. Maybe needs more seating, alternatively open up the mezzanine areas, but the bar was reasonably priced, and the ŌĆśBooking OfficeŌĆÖ behind the stage is a really nice bar for a post gig drink: long bar, easy to get served with plenty of staff, and nicely laid out seating areas.

One of my favourite venues & I've been to quite a few in my time! Staff are very friendly & acoustics out of this world! Love it, love it, love it!

My first time at the Holmfirth Picturedome watching Newton Faulkner, great little venue for live music, really intimate providing a great atmosphere. Very nice looking place too with the balconies and the bar at the back, I was really impressed. I'm pretty sure I'll be visiting the Picturedome again in the not too distant future!

Great locality, good views because of raked cinema shape, good bar access.Warm friendly crowd. Nice being in the heart of a lovely old town. I plan to return!

Great venue, saw The Bay City Rollers here on Friday. Drink prices are reasonable, staff helpful & the atmosphere is great, created by the tiers around the hall. Looking at going to more gigs here, would recommend for a great night out with plenty of pubs in the vicinity x

Great venue we go loads every year seen numerous tributes and old favorites like suzie quatro elkie brookes leo sayer and billy ocean to mention just a few. My partners fave band of all time Stiff little fingers are there every year and never fail to please all the old skool punk fanatics. Cant fault the place.

Good small venue, sound is always great which is the most important thing.

Fantastic venue. Floor in front of the stage was a bit sticky but the sound was awesome and the atmosphere was brilliant. Hard not to love a place that has the Average White Band playing. Love the sloped floor going up the room. That way you can still see the stage over all the Linebackers that congregate at the front.

A wonderful venue in a very picturesque Yorkshire town.

Fabulous venue to see bands, we are on holiday from Australia and went to the Friday night from the jam gig. Had an amazing night, great crowd that really got into the gig. Being on a slight slope you get a great view of the stage, friendly bar staff and great beer. Recommend to anyone to check it out

FANTASTIC night last night with the Legends back in town! Waited 8 years for these to come back and it was well worth the wait! Let's hope its not as long before the next visit! Brilliant night, brilliant atmosphere!

Brilliant venue, perfect size and the operators seem to understand their target customers perfectly. Great bar with great beer (Timmy Taylor's) too. And Holmfirth's not a bad night out either....

A great, intimate live venue, which is attracting a wide range of artists.This old cinema located in the middle of Holmfirth, allows patrons to enjoy the night life of this West Yorkshire town before and after shows. The Picturedrome is a real classic venue, it has its own bar at the rear of the auditorium. A smashing venue.

Our first visit last night to see the south and what a great night it was ,lovely old cinema made a great atmosphere .recommend a visit here anytime .

Great venue just need to address the toilets and some ventilation as it was way too hot. Was mega sound wise too seen lots of bands here and never been disappointed

A briiliant venue, friendly, happy staff, good beer prices, and a pretty quick service, which can't be easy given the amount of folk in there!! A love the place, top job by all

Whilst a great venue for music. It is not disabled friendly. Attended with a wheelchair bound guest, we were let in early to find a spot to see the band. All the best views were upstairs. No lifts or aid to help guests who were not great on their legs. Band were great and once we overcome the lack of disabled facilities we were fine

I've only given this 3 * as there is no way of communicating with this venue. Been there before and it's a great venue but going to a gig and need to contact them about disabled facilities but had no replies to emails, tried messenger but get an automatic reply telling you to email (been there and tried that) and have been ringing at different times every day and no answer. Not gonna be happy if I get there to be told I had to arrange this in advance!!!

Great place but they need to take that carpet up at the back that stinks of urine

Brilliant evening watching Legend, Bob Marley Experience. Outstanding band in a lovely quirky building. Real shame here is the price of the drinks. ┬Ż7.20 for 1 pint of Bitter and 2 cans of diet pepsi. Whilst I appreciate the venue has overheads this is stupidly expensive. Regularly visit the Penistone Paramount and its bar prices are nowhere near this when it has live acts on.

Be a good idea to have a notice on the front door telling punters the entrance is at the rear

Saw Leo sawyer yesterday. The acoustics were shocking. ..need to sort this out. The floor was also dirty and your feet stuck to it. To be honest my local town hall is more impressive. I wasnt pleased and left before the end. Maybe Im a snob.
