Well, IŌĆÖm actually updating this review since having been here Mon-Fri for the last 7 months!!



IŌĆÖve been working as contractor working at Pinewood Studios, this is the closest hotel to the Studios.



ItŌĆÖs a nice hotel, the rooms are spacious, big flat screen TVŌĆÖs. Really big and comfortable beds.

My only real criticism is the tap beer is no good.

Buy bottled beer.

Lovely staff, theyŌĆÖve always been really friendly during my prolonged stay and very professional.

We had our wedding here on the 9th September and it was an absolutely fantastic day. The venue is lovely, everyone said how delicious the food was and the staff have always gone above and beyond to make everything as perfect as possible. Special thanks go to Corine, Ricardo and John, but everyone has been great. The DJ (Dave) and florist (Kevin) included within the wedding package also deserve 5 stars as they made our day so wonderful.

The staff at this hotel, in particular Helen and Louise the wedding coordinators, but also everyone else, made sure that we had the most amazing experience for my best friends wedding this was arranged at extremely short notice (2 weeks) but they could not have done more! Even when all the snow arrived on the morning of the wedding, they made sure that we weren't affected. Would recommend them 100% :)

Stayed there for a wedding on the 13th, staff were very friendly and accommodating. We did have issues with the room being extrodinarily warm, with aircondionting not work, were given complimentary drinks, then after asking for an alternative room, were fully accommodated. Food was amazing, grounds lovely, would certainly recommend and stay there again.

Myself and my best friend have just got back from spending a night at the hotel and it was fantastic , staff are friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely gorgeous , lovely welcome from the reception staff, not our first time here and we will definitely be coming back, well done staff at pinewood hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here, albeit for business and not pleasure. The staff were welcoming, polite and very attentive. The room was clean, comfortable and very modern. The food was very good and comes highly recommended. This is a very nice hotel, set in lovely grounds and is easily accessible. Highly recommended

I had my wedding reception at the pinewood on 30th july 2016, it was an absolutly fantastic day, staff, food and dj all amazing, i have attended many events at the pinewood, a new years eve party, the most recent being my friends wedding on sat 28th oct 2017, as always staff, rooms, food and venue fantastic, and im sure i will be back again soon ’┐Į

Had our wedding at the Pinewood on Saturday. It was amazing. Johanna made sure that our wedding was perfect and that we got everything we wanted. The food was great and our guest really enjoyed themselves. Thank for giving us a day to remember.

Had our wedding at the Pinewood Hotel yesterday and we canŌĆÖt thank Johanna and all the staff at Pinewood for making our wedding a day to treasure and remember for the rest of our lives! From making sure food/drink was ok to going over the schedule for the day, it made us relax and enjoy our wedding day! Johanna has been amazing and always kept in regular contact with us to ensure our day went exactly as we planned and also all the staff yesterday were fantastic!

Got married Friday 22nd July 2016 at Pinewood and was an amazing awesome day. All staff at Pinewood were amazing. Thank you to Corine for being our wedding co-ordinator and to Jennie our original co-ordinator to both of you for your hard work. A special shout out to DJ Dave and Teesound as they were off the chain and amazing to be the best DJ set up around. Thank you Pinewood for letting myself and wife Kim have fireworks at the end of the night. We would so recommend anyone who wants to get married do it here and make sure DJ Dave is your DJ.

Attended a TAKE THAT TRIBUTE evening last night and it was superb!! The food was lovely and as always John and his team gave exceptional hospitality. Got married at this hotel last October and had the most amazing time. If you are looking for a great night out,which doesn't cost the earth, then why not try out one of their tribute evenings- you'll love it! 10/10

Rooms well appointed and spacious, lovely location, good parking, excellent food, both evening BBQ and Breakfast. Only issue was we found the bar staff to be very, very slow, very forgetful and disorganised. Need to take leaf from restaurant staff who were quick and efficient and polite. Great place, just be very patient when ordering at the bar! ’┐Į

Myself and 7 other friends were at the Pinewood Hotel last night for the Elvis tribute night. We had a great evening and the room looked amazing, big up to the DJ who played great music before and after the tribute act. Had a two course set meal which was pleasant enough and the staff were quick to clear the tables after dinner. Elvis was brilliant. We are heading back in January for the Take That tribute night which I hope will be as enjoyable as last night.

We attended our sons wedding reception at the Pinewood on Saturday 8th September. Arrived on the Friday night for a pre wedding dinner which was

nice .

After drinks it was time for bed , the room was ok but very warm so turned on the air conditioning only to turn it off again for the unbearable noise it was making , so opening the window was the next option which looked out onto a flat roof full of aircon units which sounded like a 747 on takeoff all through the night. Added to this was the most uncomfortable cheap mattress we have ever slept on = not much sleep at all. Next morning we had breakfast which was nice . Once back from the church the reception was well planned and went without a hitch and the staff did an great job, meals were lovely and plentiful. After partying hard till 1.30am we were really ready for bed . so this time it was NO aircon , window closed which meant hot and restless and a second bad nights sleep. This is an issue that was mentioned by other guests too so it needs to be sorted. One other issue is the hot water. It is so temperamental one could easily scold oneself when showering. All i all with a little updating the Pinewood Hotel could become great but for us this time wasn't the best and for the money would have been better with a Premier Inn.

A mixed experience at this hotel .Dining room was bitterly cold but both evening meal and breakfast better than average for this type of hotel .

First impression in room was warm clean and well provided with refreshments and shower products but second night ...nothing replaced so no Tea & biscuits for morning ! Tv in my room with only couple of channels but next door had all channels Maintenance attempted to make better but failed !Over the two nights / days the lift was out of order apart from on arrival !I would suggest that it needs a decent manager to pull it into line with the description or they will experience bad feedback ! Felt sorry for receptionist as was taking all the flack .Many complaints at reception as rooms were so cold .We were offered a ┬Ż15 discount because of the lift Staff friendly and showers powerful and hot ! Plenty of parking but muddy car park !

Well where do I start with this

We stayed at the hotel last night for a friends wedding. The wedding it self was good and the food was exceptional but the supporting facility's were far from satisfactory!!!!



The hotel room was very small dark and extremely hot !! I then turned the air con on in the room and it was hotter then the room was. I also found that my smoke head alarm was covered up with a shower cap. This is and was a huge health and safety breach and I am glad that I found it as there staff obviously did not check my room thoroughly.



As a experience bar man my self I was astonished when I was given a beer that they had used to clear the lines after the barrel had been changed. When I asked for a fresh pint the bar man was very dismissive of the issue. After that I was also severed a glass that had a crack top to bottom which I did not see until it cut my lip.



My partner went down about 1 in the morning to ask for a fan because the air con was so bad and a fan was provided.



For the price of the room and the shocking state of the room as well as rude staff I will not be coming back to this hotel as well as taking the issues further by contacting health and safety executive.

Well I ate a pizza An American hot which had slimy cheese but I also had a crab starter

All night I was ill and all the following day so I donŌĆÖt recommend eating those items, room very small and food and drink was expensive

Had booked and paid for afternoon tea for my birthday. When we arrived the hotel was in a state from a wedding the day before. They had no record of my booking even though I had a confirmation email. There had been a wedding the day before and in the foyer it was filled with stuff from that event. We were eventually sat in the dining room which was filthy. After 20 minutes of waiting we were brought 2 pots of tea. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned. After 30 mins of waiting and looking at how disgusting and dirty the place was we asked for the Manager. Apparently the Manager was not in till Monday, finally someone came out and apologised for what had happened and offered us to come back another for a meal at a later date. To top it all, one of the wedding guests from the day before was abusive to one of us for no reason at all.
