Went there last night with my younger brother & fiancée as I have been searching for ages for a Kent Persian Restaurant. All the Persian restaurants I have ever been to over the last 20 years or so are based in West London. Was not disappointed, food was delicious, one of my favourites, the Chelo Kebab Koobideh and the Persian family owners are delightful and friendly. Very hospitable welcome and service and just what you expect from their culture. Can't praise enough and I hope that it all goes well and thrives. It is definitely needed in this neck of the woods as a change to the usual eateries that pop up everywhere. We definitely intend to return for a repeat in the near future.

We had a fantastic traditional Sunday roast at the Pistachio. The staff are lovely and the service is great. Good coffee too. Looking forward to another visit to sample the Persian specialities.

Very good, family run, Persian restaurant set in a cosy venue with character and welcoming and friendly hosts. As someone who grew up with homemade Persian food, Pistachio certainly does not fall short in quality. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. Would highly recommend.

The tastiest Persian food I have ever had (apart from my mummy’s cooking) but I was blown away by the yummy flavours. Can’t wait to return, was made very welcome, thank you for a lovely evening ��

So we walked into this restaurant for the first time. We found the service warm and welcoming right from the start. With all the mouthwatering choices we decided on the hot meze menu for starters. For main we had the special and the lamb fillet -so tender and cooked to perfection. Although full we couldnt resist a peek at the dessert menu. Ooops found ourselves ordering pistachio icecream and omg the most scrumptious baklava.

We then got chatting to the very friendly owners Ali and Fatima and swapped family stories as though we were long time friends. They offerred such a relaxing atmosphere as they told us about their plans for the garden during the summer months. We are looking forward to visiting again very soon.

Really friendly family run business. It’s about time we had a Persian restaurant in Kent. Delicious food, great service, will be coming back and bringing friends to experience Persian hospitality.

My family and I have just had an amazing meal at THE PISTACHIO in Birchington , A great Persian Restaurant. The meal was amazing! The staff were very polite and friendly!. There is a lot to choose from on their menu. I would truly recommend this restaurant...., it’s also great value and they even do a Sunday roast at a great price too! which we can’t wait to try! So if any of you are looking to eat somewhere different, well this is the place.............

Fab food, lovely hosts, what more can you ask for? Ali made us very welcome and could not have been nicer. Ordered the mixed grill kabob which was divine! whether you love Persian food like we do or have never eaten it, go along and try it.

Came here on Saturday with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised. I was so happy to taste authentic Persian food as it isn't easy to come across. We had the mixed grill which was superb, the lamb was so tender and chicken juicy,also the rice was cooked to perfection. The staff were so attentive and friendly. I would recommend this place to any Persian people or anyone looking for something different. I cannot wait to go back!

Being recommend this place by several others we decided to give it a try. The meat in our mixed grill was really tender, and although we aren't a big fan of rice, the rice we had here was amazing ! The portions are plentiful and the service was spot on. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try something new from the usual eatery.

An evening spent in a nice ambiance with lovely food with a background of live music which set a relaxing scene. Great service & we will be making a return visit.

Although we live in Birchington, this was our first time here. The food is really good, so many flavours. Will definitely be coming back

Halal food with great kebabs . It feels like an old pub that’s been converted to a restaurant so was initially worried about the meat being halal but on closer questioning my doubts were put to rest. The service was great and we enjoyed our free Kawas at the end as well. Think we will be visiting again in the near future.
