Wow! What a beautiful place. So much history. Peaceful, tranquil, just like stepping back to a different time, a secret garden in a city.
Well looked after! We had a lovely time on such a beautiful day. We will be back! Thank you all who look after this special garden
What an amazing place! For all the years I had lived in Norwich I never knew it existed. The atmosphere was brilliant. The staff were really friendly. We watched absolutely fabulous. Which had there not been a concert going on next door would have been top class! Unfortunately I could hear it going on throughout the film. It's not put me off though and I'd definitely go again. X
What a well kept secret Plantation Gardens hidden away and so close to the city of Norwich. Yesterday we were treated to music in the gardens with tea and cakes. What a treat, unfortunately the weather was not at its best but we are British and enjoyed the day anyway.
What a beautiful place. Peace and tranquility in the middle of the hussle and bussle of the city. Although it's winter time it's still a beautiful place. I've wanted to visit for a long time and finally got round to it. Looking forward to another visit in the spring/summer
We had a fabulous evening with the pop up cinema showing of dirty dancing. It was very well organised, the staff very helpful and security second to none. What a beautiful setting and fabulous gardens too. Will definitely be coming again.
Norwich would not be the same without this magical slice of visual beauty.
Tucked away in plain sight and seemingly presented as a manifestation of each indivuals dreamscape created by the collective longing for peace and serenity in the bustle of city life.
Please don't go... We love you so.
Lovely place to go so peacefully and tranquil love it get a thumbs up from me
Lovely little hide away!
Lived in the vicinity for 40 years, yet yesterday was the first time I have been to visit this stunning place! Absolutely breathtaking. Well done to everyone that has made this such a beautiful and timeless garden.

I loved it there. Even sitting in the garden was so relaxing. Even the kids loved it my boy was wondering if the signs on the wall were scout signs and if they are how did they come about? Please. Definitely be coming again even with the kids.
I live in California and this is one place I love to visit on my trips to Norwich. It is so pretty and a very special place in the City.
It would be very short sided to close the garden.
You have a real treasure here and I hope you continue to make it available to everyone.
I don't understand. I don't understand it at all. Why would anyone want to see the Garden closed?
The day my mother left on a plane for home in September 2016 (after a month of helping me settle into university here), I sat in the Plantation Garden on the verge of tears. As an international student, that was the first time I'd truly been alone and far away from home. I didn't know what the future held for me or how I'd cope on my own.
The Garden was the first place in Norwich that comforted me. There was so much peace and calm, and it was like a scene right out of the many fairy tales I had read as a child. For a moment I felt as if I had found my own secret garden, just as Mary Lennox had in the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. As a city girl through and through, it was unlike anything or anyplace I had ever experienced.
It is my sincere wish, along with many others who have been fans of the Garden long before me, that the place remain open for everyone to enjoy. I'm not even certain that penning this or signing the online petition would be of any help at all, but this is perhaps the best way I know to tell everyone how much the Plantation Garden means to me.
First visit this year. Looking great!
Fabulous night of fireworks, hot dogs and hot chocolate. Really well organised and a warm welcome despite the rain. The jam jar tea lights on all the pathways made it look really magical. Thank you to all the volunteers.
Beautiful hidden gardens. Well wort a visit.
Beautiful gardens, a piece of tranquillity within the city
A beautiful hidden gem on the edge of Norwich City centre. Our first visit and our initial reaction was wow! lots of information and history of the gardens throughout, a fantastic wall, the Victorian fountain and amazing planting. A true treasure
Really interesting garden with some lovely flowers. Not that keen on some the presence of several locals smoking vast quantities of marijuana, but there's no security so what do you expect? I will certainly re-visit.
