Need a winter warmer? Well we have it here. Delicious home cooked food being served all day at The Plough Inn. Oh and we are doggy friendly too 🐶

What a brilliant meal we had for my dads 90th Birthday Celebration. The back room accommodated 18 people comfortably. We had pre ordered most of the meals the day before and everything was perfect. The staff and Katlyn were outstanding from booking 2 weeks prior to the day, everything was catered for. The starters and main courses were all served at the same time and the quality of the food was outstanding, I had creamy haddock smokie with crumb topping, and slow cooked brisket of beef dinner and wow what can I say perfection 10 out of 10 all day long. So all I can say is a big big Thank You to all at the Plough your service and hospitality was second to non. Cheers Christine xxx

Nipped for Sunday lunch, absolutely out standing food which was complimented with excelent service 10 /10 really really top notch, best in the area, keep up the good work guys.

Just love The (Little) Plough, lovely friendly atmosphere, top class food, excellent beer, civilised clientele and brilliant staff. What's not to like? But don't tell anyone or we'll never get a table! :)

I just wanted to drop you guys a message and say what a lovely meal we all had last night! Lots of times people message people with negative thoughts and experiences but we really enjoyed last nights meal.



Everyone loved the Sunday dinner and the steaks went down well too!

Fabulous as ever .. try other places but always come back here .. gorgeous homemade food especially the sticky toffee pudding oh and the cheesecake �

Excellent food yesterday once again. The three of us had a great meal in a lovely setting with superb service. My slow roasted beef was utterly superb. My wife's burger was excellent and our daughter's chicken was lovely. 5 stars all round, see you soon :)

An amazing meal, could not decide what starters to have as they all sounded so good. So ordered 2 each & shared & was not disappointed just amazing. Our main meals were also just perfect. The friendliness & service from the staff was also second to none. I will definitely be returned. Happy & full 😬

Amazing dosent say enough! The food melted in my mouth , the roast beef dinner was beauitful from presentation to taste ! The young lady that looked after us was also great ! Great place to eat and will defenatily be back !

After moving to Lowton nearly a year ago we have been to the sister restaurant, the courtyard bistro, several times and always been really impressed with the menu choice, food and service.

Today we went over to The Plough in Croft to have some lunch, the only thing I can say is why has it taken me so long to go over their.

The choice of drinks is great with indie lager and a guest ale from Bootleg Brewing Co, which is so much better than your standard bar offering.

The menu is varied and interesting and a couple of really nice specials on the board, so much I wanted to try, when it arrived it was really good.

To top it all off the place is charming and the service is also; attentive, friendly and so welcoming, even if we were nearly at the 2:30pm cut off for food.

This place is an absolute must and we will be back soon.
