I've had to re-rate as was told I had only given the pub 2* it was ment to be 5* but I love it great beer, GREAT STAFF, good people who will make you feel welcome and most of all not bad prices x

I used to run this fab pub from 2000- 2005, I hope my old regulars are still behaving.

Hoisting, good food, had a great time. One of my favourite places in Halifax.

Great night out staff are courteous and polite love the monday and tuesday club if you have never been give it a go you won't regret it.nuff said.

Brill pub, one of my favs. bar staff are great, and its cheap.

Best pub in Halifax. A good pint . Great atmosphere. Dog friendly so paws up from George. And not forgetting the fantastic staff Hannah & Alex are worth their weight in gold. X

Nice bar, shame about the service from one of the staff members. Other than that a pleasant place for a pint.
