Never fails to deliver. Came in for pre holiday meal.. 4 of us seen to almost straight away. Time given to read through the menu (not that we really needed to), steak pie was amazing. Kids meal good portion size & BBQ chicken Panini - lots of flavour! Great service & experience once again.

My partner and i LOVE this place ! great deal for a saturday steak night :) Also tried the carvery on sunday for the first time and it was amazing i cleared my plate!! (don't usually) Best carvery we ever had will be back for another.

I had a lovely birthday meal here last night. Was offered my meal for free due to my large booking and given the upstairs room for privacy. I would like to thank the staff for managing to have our food ready all at the same time, which I imagine was not an easy task considering there was 20 of us! All my guests left very happy. Everyone was happy with the size and price of the meals. The staff were very friendly and polite. Thank you for making my birthday a pleasant one.

Had a lovely meal here today 22 Feb had a nice steak pie and chips really good had a pint of Carling to wash it down. Well enjoyed it so much stopped for a few hours got cosy because cold out side. The girls were so friendly and polite and to guy who came on later was also great. What a fantastic place. Can't wait to come again might be pretty soon. Can't wait.

Excellent meal here on saturday night, quick friendly service, homemade chips were gorgous and the burger was brilliant, proper 8oz burger toppd qoth cheese chilli and onion rings. Recpmmend here and will be back

Celebrated my sisters 50th last night in the function room upstairs, 35 of us dining and the food was fab, they were short staffed but the lady upstairs worked her socks off to get the food out as quick as she could, nothing was too much trouble. Would deffo recommend and we’ll be back.

Came today to try there new mad fish Friday deal, wow was absolutely lovely, fish was a very decent size, staff was very friendly. New menu for children witch also has a good selection. Highly recommend

Surprised how many other restaurants wouldn't accommodate a large party but you guys were fab thank you again!!! Xxx

Been here numerous time now, loved it every time. Took my children aged 4 and 6 and they couldn't do enough for them, they loved it. Very friendly staff and gorgeous food. Will be back

Been here for a private party tonight. The room was perfect , buffet was Beaut and the service was amazing . Cannot fault!!xx

All we can say is wow! Me and my partner ordered the Saturday steak deal, and it was amazing. Steak cooked perfectly, even better the chips here are the best we have had in a very long time. Even the salad was perfect especially the dressing. The waiter was verg attentive, and made us feel comfortable. We will defiantly be going again. X

Excellent made freshly to order breakfast, with great service. Set me up for the day.

When I went into The point for valentine's Day

Me and my partner had pizza and chips, the chips were cremated and they looked burnt and tasted burnt but over all everything else was ok but today I went into the point and I had a cheese sandwich and salad also chips and as I ate the first couple of chips they were cold i also had a milkshake and the milkshake wasn't a milkshake it tasted horrible not like a normal milkshake should, My partner had a lasagna and it was burnt at the bottom of the dish and stook to the plate that they had cooked it in we could see that it was burnt because there were black bits inside the lasagna that put my partner off.

But overall good service and fast food.

Very disappointed in the service and food we received today ...was told to sit anywhere and someone would come and take our order ...(we chose a quiet area to the right of the entrance as it was very busy in the main area) ...we sat there for about 20mins before deciding to sit in the main part as we felt forgotten about ...we got sat down and our order was taken ...we ordered the breakfast specials, one with no beans and the other one well done ...a couple of people ordered after us and was served their breakfast first, the waitress gave us her apologies and offered us extra coffee for the inconvenience & explained ours would be next ...our breakfast arrived, our requests of one without beans and one well done was totally neglected as they both came exactly the same (with beans and not well done) the toast was extremely well done though, it was that hard I couldn't cut it so I left it ...it was swimming in grease too I had to tip it off my plate and then use a napkin to soak it up ...we paid on the way out n was asked of we had enjoyed our food to which i replied that i'd had better and my comment was totally disreguarded ...we will definitely not be visiting here again ...it was poor layout, cramped and not the cleanest of places either ...should have followed my instincts on arrival to be fair �

We visited here today, we was told to take a seat anywhere and they would come over and take our order. 15 minutes we sat waiting for someone to take our order. Just as we was about to get up and leave the assistant manager came over to take our order (who looked like she had only just left school) We explained how long we had been waiting and was just about to leave to which she replied "awh I'm sorry I didn't realise" (pathetic).. we waited another 15 minutes for our food to arrive, I ordered bbq chicken and cheddar paninni and my partner ordered a large full english breakfast the paninni was awful 3 mouthfuls and left it best bit was the coleslaw. My partner also didn't rate his full English breakfast. Absolutely awful. I will not be visiting again !!

Sat here at the moment since 9.45. It's been 30 mins and still no food. The chef came back from the shop with milk then I'm assuming disappeared to prepare food. Will not be attending again. Also place looked shoddy and refurbished on the cheap. Will not be attending again. It's bad when freeman street market cafe has better service.

Came here the another night with my partner, waiting nearly an hour for food, when it finally arrived it was cold ...staff wasn't very helpful, looked miserable...also dirty tables with food left on them from previous customers....would not recommend it and will not be coming back.... Shame as the other restaurant was lovely !!
