there are only three things that flout my boat! one of them is wine and cheese.and i don't no eney place locally with such quality stocking of

the above items. best of all his knowledge of wine and his enthusiasm for it is a joy to behold. this rubs of with his servlce for customers if he has not got what you want then he will go the last mile to get it in for you. I can whole heartily recommend his shop and business.

What an amazing night, so friendly and relaxed and learnt lots! Would highly recommend for anyone who wanted to know a little more about wine in an unstuffy relaxed environment.

We had a fabulous time last night at there wine tasting evening, beautiful wines, lovely atmosphere � it’s a fantastic shop with great Wines, Gins, vodka’s, Beers, Cheese and much more x

The only place to buy wine and ale. We love the service you get here and the wine even more. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the wine tasting and cheese today and managed to buy some wonderful wine. Enjoyed the bottle of Eradus that we bought, must be one of the best NZ Marlborough SB's i've ever tasted as good as Cloudy Bay. Great shop and great proprieters with great wine knowledge :-)

Knowledgeable owners, extensive range of wines, lovely ambience...what's not to like? Whats more they do cigars and cheese. This could very possibly be my favourite shop in all of Cumbria!

I'm back home from a holiday in Bowness and I am now enjoying a unfiltered IPA from Fell Brewery which I purchased from the store. The Dashwood Pinot Gris me and my partner shared was delicious too! Many thanks to Carl for the recommendations and friendly customer service!

I went into the new store in Bowness twice last week and I have to say the store is fantastic. Great selection at good prices and more importantly friendly, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable staff. If you're in the area and like wine it's a must visit.

I placed an order for a large quantity of christmas hampers. I visited the shop numerous times to discuss with Judy and each time the customer service was excellent. They customised the hampers to exactly what I wanted and even though I changed my mind a couple of times it was no problem. I have since been back for birthday gifts or a bottle of wine and Colin helped out with which wines were best suited to what I like. Very pleased would recommend to anyone. Thankyou Colin & Judy

I don't really get on with Shiraz but Colin talked me round and I have to say the Australian selection that was put together was simply fantastic.

The fact that a representative from the vineyard was there to explain the whole journey from grape to glass (inc the selection of the experts to make the wine) made it quite unforgettable.

A great selection of wines available with someone that is both passionate and knowledgable to discuss them with you.

Sign me up for the next one!!

Excellent choice, great advice for a mere novice like myself and absolutely fantastic Gouguenheim and another one that I m not allowed to tell you and especially I can't 'TELL GARY'

Brilliant two little shops, Paul is so knowledgable on beer and wine. Helped us pick up some beers from local breweries who no longer exist and also found us a few bottles of wine from Napa. Definitely recommend!!

Best toffee vodka from here ever. Love the cheese some fantastic flavours I would highly recommend you take a visit amazing selection of reds I've ever seen
