You told me this is like crack and I'll come back for more. Well, I don't know what crack taste like but I'm sure this is better! That spicy sauce with the rib meat is an unbeatable combo on top of the fries!

P.S. Can you teach the food places at Whistler how to do this Poutine please? I cannot think of anything better for a lunch break at the mountains!

User

Tried poutine first time and absolutely loved it. Fries are perfect, delicious gravy and it all comes together with the cheese. Portions are generous and well priced, very friendly service. I'll be back for more.

The Poutinerie Is probably one of the best poutine that you can find around the world. I've been a couple weeks in Canada recently and tried different poutines at different place including the famous restaurant La Banquise (Overrated for me). His poutine is far better than all poutine I ate in Canada because some poutine is made. His gravy makes a huge difference and it's so irresistible. The cheese curds is very similar to Quebec Cheese Curds called in Quebec "Fromage à grains". And spiced chips adds more flavor of the poutine.

The Ribman with the tasty hot sauce "Holly F**k Sauce" is the big bonus with your poutine.

If he accepts Canadian dollars, I will be happy to put more than 5 stars ;)

User

My partner is Canadian. So we've been on a bit of a mission to find decent poutine in London. Having finally sampled the real thing, I can see why Canadians rave about it.

Meat and hot sauce from The Ribman is an added bonus.

User

Made a little trip today to Petticoat Lane to try your poutine and it was so worth it! It was so good! And it was great to have a chit chat with you guys, probably see you again at the Fête Nationale! :D

User

Im not Canadian but i know good chips gravy and cheese curds when i eat them! Add the rib meat and hot sauce and you have a match made in heaven.

If you see this stall and pass it by you just missed out.

User

I love this place what brilliant ppl and to die for food always enjoy my Sunday trips here xxx

User

I live in North Carolina, as such I know a fair bit about all things BBQ and have eaten a few chips (fries) in my time. When I know I have an upcoming trip to London the first thing I do after booking flights is check Paul's schedule to figure out when I can visit him for my "fix." I've even had the RibMan's sauce delivered by friends. The food is not complex, but it is amazingly tasty!

User

I have been following this page for best part of a year, and finally got to visit them when they were in Brick Lane the day after Canada Day. I am a big fan of Poutine, and after being desperately disappointed by what the UK often call Poutine (chips with thin gravy and mozzarella) I will admit to having some trepidation ordering, what if it wasn't as good as I hoped?

I should not have feared. It is as good if not better than a lot of the Poutine I have had in Canada. I would recommend this place only for the food apart from the fact that all the staff I spoke to, were also friendly and really passionate about serving great quality food which adds to the experience. Will return again, and again when I am I London. Keep up the good work!

User

I can't believe I haven't reviewed The Poutinerie yet. This is the best Poutine my wife and I have ever had and yes we've been to Montreal. The spice on the fries/chips, the cheese curds and the gravy all combine to deliver the deliciousness to your taste buds and tummy. I highly recommend you track down this food stall and treat yourself whether you are a Poutine connoisseur or a curious newbie, you won't be disappointed.

User

I absolutely love this, like genuinely, there are days when I start thinking about poutine, I'm almost so close to tears, because I want it so bad. Hell, even today, I made the longer trip for lunch to St Pauls than ever before (usual spot is Farringdon, but doesn't stop by there as often as I like!) and he always gives me so much of that Ribman Chilli sauce, not just a dab, he douses it. It's bloody delicious, need to order some of that sauce. I don't know where you've been all my life, but I'm sure not letting you leave anytime soon!

User

First time I've eaten poutine, so I have nothing to comapre it to - but at face value this is REALLY good quality food, flavoursome and pleasingly spicy. Served piping hot and friendly service. Recommended.

User

First time I have had poutine after hearing about it for years from my Canadian friends. Absolutely did not disappoint. Food is top notch and the service is very friendly and quick. I now never miss them when they are in my area and even travel to their location if it is not too far. Highly recommended. Shame I can only give them 5 stars I would give them a much higher rating if possible.

User

Every Thursday when these guys come to Cardinal Place for the Victoria Food Market, the queues are at least double any other ones. But it is definitely worth the wait. This is the best Poutine you could ever find in London (and probably on this side of the Atlantic) and it is one of my all time food market favourites.

I cannot recommend this enough!

User

Canada well represented! Visited when in London and it was great! I live near a cheese factory in Canada, where fresh curds are always available, so this was a fantastic taste of home!

User

As a Vancouverite living in Copenhagen for 2 years, I often have the craving of a perfectly Canadian poutine.

While on vacation in London for a weekend, I made The Poutinerie my must go place and boy was it worth it.

The curds squeaked in my mouth to perfection.

The gravy was so irresistible that I had to scrape the box for all the leftover drops, ensuring nothing went to waste.

The fries were crispy and seasoned in such a delectable way.

Thank you for satisfying my undying yearn for poutine. I will highly recommend you to everyone I know travelling to London and I cannot wait to come back

User

As a French Canadian guy living in London I can categorically state that The Poutinerie is the real deal - and ranks as one of the best poutines I've had anywhere, hands down. Most poutines you find in London are very poor - made with the wrong cheese and/or weak sauces. This poutine is 100% authentic, with proper cheese curds and fantastic brown sauce that puts the others to shame. I will keep coming back for a taste of home - bravo The Poutinerie and keep up the good work!

User

A real taste of home, but also loved by my non-Canadian friends. Paul & crew dish up a delicious, hearty dish for a fiver. Highly recommend! If you're brave, try the hot sauce with it :)

User

A must eat that feels like home or brings out the best of pleasure, depending of if you born straight in a poutine or elsewhere. I visit The Poutinerie like people go to church; religiously.
