this is the first bar that I have walked into when I arrived in new mills and I’m not looking back!! This has now become my home away from home and how this pub works is they make you feel like family, it’s always warm and friendly,,, not to mention the food, I’ve had a few meals here and for under 10£ on the meals I’ve had they remind you of your proper family Sunday night dinners, just amazing,, I can not fault this place,, the staff are 10/10 the food 10/10 and the atmosphere is 10/10!! Everyone down this way HAS to stop in here and experience the amazing place of pride of the peaks as they do new mills very proud.

Went there on Sunday with 5 friends for a birthday afternoon tea and what can I say. We were all absolutely amazed. We were not expecting a cool cosy little shed that is all furnished and cosy with pillows and blankets and the food was tops.� Thanks all we will be visiting again and highly recommend to anyone�

We went yesterday for a birthday treat. We had afternoon tea for four, it was amazing it would of fed 8! We took loads home and still left some behind too! We were in little den outside it was lovely! We will defo be back! Also a glass of prosseco was included in the price! Very good value for money x

We visited for an afternoon tea for my mums birthday and it was amazing.

The staff were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was fantastic and have been telling all of our family and friends that they MUST visit.

We will definately be visiting again �.

We have just had an amazing afternoon tea for a baby shower. The food was excellent and thoughtfully presented and the staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone xxxx

We had the breakfast to share and cups of coffee couldn’t fault it it was very tasty �

We had a girlie evening in the Pop Inn a couple of weeks ago, it was fantastic. Some of us got delayed with the train and taxis but the food was all there ready waiting for us with prosecco! We had ordered hot food but somewhere the message had got lost and the kitchen was closed but this didn't stop them from going above and beyond by opening the kitchen and preparing hot food for us all. The service from the staff was top notch and the food was delicious - even giving us take out trays to take the rest home! It was so peaceful in the Pop Inn, you wouldn't know there was a busy bustling pub next to you! Will definitely be recommending this to everyone, and we are already planning another visit next year! �

We had a fantastic Afternoon Tea here yesterday! We really can’t praise it enough! Plenty of tasty food, a great variety and lovely service! The Pop Inn was lovely and cosy. We also really appreciated the heaters and blankets.

Had the best Easter Friday yesterday at this pub.. the food was amazing and the staff lovely and couldn’t do enough to help you! 100% recommend going ���

Awesome place run by awesome people, I can’t recommend them enough the breakfast is the best and service second to none, thank you.

Good pub nice beer garden barmaid was a bit abrupt.

Been In a few times this year, not really had any issues and could not fault what we had.

However went to take my son for breakfast at 9am Tuesday morning when took .y car for its MOT and we waited 10-15 minutes for them to open after 9am. Nothing happened so we went to the cafe up the road.

The board outside the pub says breakfast from 9am on Tuesdays and then so does their Facebook page (as of today's review).

I sent a Facebook message to ask regarding opening times and I was advised in the Holidays they open at 10am. Which I understand however maybe a good idea to put updates on social media and a sign in the window to alert people waiting outside. There were two others the same day.

Just been in for a veggie breakfast which includes a mini omelette. When it arrived with a fried egg instead, I asked for the omelette and told the waitress I don't eat fried eggs. Only to be told that there was nothing they could do about it due to deliveries being affected by the bad weather. If you can fry an egg then surely you can make a mini omelette instead? Or at least tell your customer before serving something different. Apart from that the food was OK for the price paid, just let down by the service today.
