User

This place is amazing. Great atmosphere, superb staff and the food is top notch👌

Will be a regular here for sure👍

User

The Place was a great idea for social friendly gathering, they have good selection of 5 food outlets range of prices (£ 4-10), but portions are small if you are hungry you won’t be filled up 😀

The place has a relaxed, outdoorsy, festival vibe with blankets

Reservations was quiet easy too by email.

the only thing was annoying in taking pictures there are heaters with red lights on every table & taking pics take too munch red light & needs a lot of editing to appear with normal light.

Super cute venue, especially in this good weather, makes you feel extra summery! Great for gatherings, you can all get whatever you fancy to eat for relatively cheap. Not too noisy as I think it's quite spaced out, although we went on a Monday evening so not as busy as a weekend. Free frozen Margherita as we signed up to their newsletter beforehand. I had food from Patty and Bun, it was very tasty. Will definitely be back

I've visited the Prince several times now in both smaller and larger groups. We were able to reserve an area for the larger group when celebrating - this was a great experience from start to finish.

The staff were really friendly and the service was outstanding. The selection of traders works really well as it covers just about everyone in a group. Drinks are well priced and there's a good range - craft beers alongside some more well know, decent spirits and nice wines including some big bottles of rose

Such a great use of the space, awesome beer garden. The area was crying out for something like this and now we have it!

User

I went to The Prince with a few friends yesterday and I absolutely loved it. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. The garden is stunning, drinks are good value and there is an amazing selection of food. I will definitely return.

User

Great venue; friendly staff, huge choice of drinks, lovely food and a fantastic atmosphere. Perfect for evening drinks or a relaxed lunch and everything is really reasonably priced. The beautiful garden is perfect for summer.

User

Beautiful venue (really is nothing like it) with an amazing selection of food. Cracking venue. Can’t wait to go back in the summer!

User

Attended The Prince for a friends birthday, could not believe how vibrant and unique this space was. Amazingly easy to book and really well equipped for big groups and parties. The staff were really friendly, we will defiantly be back.

User

Amazing place to eat, drink and having fun!

User

Absolutely a beaut of a place and very good concept

User

Great once inside. But a stupid idea of separate queues if you have a booking.

Arrived just after my friends who had a booking for a surprise with the girlfriend. And they made us queue for 20 minutes as we “had a booking” though we already knew where the table was with drinks waiting.

Men’s toilets had no urinals and only two cubicles. Stupid to open with that amount of toilets

User

Would NOT recommend for a birthday or large group. Despite the fact that I had reserved a table for 25 people (and ensured that most of the group were there within the 30 min booking time) those who were 10 minutes late had to queue for an hour outside in the cold because they had let in too many walk-ins and could no longer accommodate bookings.

Absolutely ridiculous, and the security at the door were rude and aggressive when I tried to speak to friends and family stuck in the queue. Could be a good venue, but this ruined my evening.

User

We were very disappointed on arriving at the venue yesterday for our 1pm booking. The venue is blatantly geared up for evenings and on arrival there was no reservation team and general disdain from other staff on arrival (with the exception of the doormen who were really pleasant).

No-one explained to us where menus were and when we found them they were stained and really not pleasant to touch, the majority of the tables had not been refreshed from the night before.

Food was good at Patty & Bun.

Overall I'm really disappointed as I was taking my team out for a different Christmas lunch experience and we left underwhelmed.

User

Great venue, but it makes no sense to go to a pub and you have to wait for drinks and food forever!! Absolutely unacceptable and frustrating - plus they close @11pm already... not fun!

User

Great idea, poor execution. Good selection of food outlets, but only Peroni and Meantime Pale Ale on tap. Where's the selection of interesting beers? Terrible, unimaginative wine list. All drinks served in plastic cups. They're going for a relaxed, outdoorsy, festival vibe - so why are there bouncers in suits and staff with clipboards everywhere you turn? I feel like the positive reviews are more about excitement that somewhere new has just opened, rather than any kind of honest appraisal of what's truly being offered. Five stars for flavourless, mass-market, corporate lager at £5.50 served in a plastic cup. That really deserves 5 stars in 2017?

User

Turned away at the door by the door man as it was too 'cock heavy' Not how I expect to be spoken to when visiting my new local pub. Sadly the attitudes of the door staff won't give the pub the image it probably will need in the long term to remain in business. Very disappointing

User

Disappointed. We had made a booking over the telephone to reserve a table of six in the garden area only to get there and be seated at a table upstairs by the pub bar, which was a complete mis-sell. Be warned they say this is their policy if the garden area gets booked up and to check the small print in email, which we did after and there was nothing about this! We were told we could come down at 7:30pm when table bookings were released so we did and found a table, asking everyone nearby if it was free. Then at 10:30pm, a group of people told us it was their reserved table (with no sign) and to get off it. We explained what management had told us, but apparently the rule is you can leave your table and return to it, even after three hours! Never heard of such an absurd rule for a busy garden pub area in London on a Friday night. We had left our table upstairs expecting people to sit there once leaving that area, so to be asked to get up after three hours of being on a table seemed a ridiculous policy. It’s not like a nightclub where you secure a table with money?? In conclusion, it’s one rule for some and another rule for others. Chaotic

User

Aggressive staff, especially towards the evening. Security staff incredibly intolerant, the slightest protest about their rough and factory-like approach to managing people results in agressive ejection from the club. You don’t need to be drunk or rude, just having the need for being treated like a human results in a hostile attitude. Never coming back.
